Nairobi Arrival. Overnight at Ngong House
Karen District, Nairobi
Arrive
at Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in
the evening, where you will be met by the warm, smiling
face of your private guide, Paul. Paul will transfer
you to Ngong House, where you may have a light snack
before settling in for the night. During your first
night in Africa, you will probably awaken to the peculiar,
electrifying call of a territorial male tree hyrax!
In fact, these furry brown creatures that look like
giant guinea pigs are the closest living relatives
to the elephant! Enjoy your first night in Africa!

Mara Game Reserve
After
breakfast you will be transferred to Wilson Airport
for your scheduled flight to the Masai Mara. Cottar's
1920's Camp in the Maasai Mara returns to the original
spirit and essence of 'safari,' reminiscent of a golden
era - an era of romance, professional guiding, adventure
and elegance, in a timelessly unspoiled setting with
panoramic views and boundless game. Each day in the
Mara will be dramatically different to the next. Swathed
in dreamy white canvas and nestled amidst forested
hills, Cottar's 1920's Camp captures the very essence
of romance and mysticism of Africa. So swooning alluring
is it that it has become the hottest emerging destination
for Weddings in the African bush! A stylishly simple
ceremony coupled with the vibrant colors of Masai
dancing and celebrations away from the crowds yet
amidst the herds! The wedding ceremony is complete
with a gourmet dinner, wedding photographer and a
mouthwatering wedding cake of your choice as well
as both a traditional and Maasai wedding ceremony,
the bride and groom are both adorned in traditional
Maasai regalia and the entire village joins in your

Laikipia

After your gourmet
breakfast and on your second day of your honeymoon,
you will board a private charter flight to Laikipia
Plateau. Upon arrival, you will be met by your hosts
or one of their guides. Once you settle in, you will
enjoy lunch before your activities begin. You will
enjoy three wonderful days exploring this incredible
wilderness area with guides who will share their knowledge
of the native flora and fauna and man's interaction
with it! The Laikipia Plateau is a peaceful wilderness
with spectacular vistas and beautiful sunsets. Only
local building materials and dead wood from the ranch
were used in the construction of the lodge. The result
is a supremely comfortable and luxurious lodge which
is totally in keeping with its surroundings. There
is a central eating and sitting area: comfy leather
sofas surround a huge fireplace with picture windows
looking onto the valley below.

Island on the Indian Ocean, Kenya Coast
After
breakfast you will connect on a scheduled flight to
Nairobi and then on down to Manda Island, where you
will spend the last three days of your Safari at Manda
Bay! Manda Bay Resort is a small private lodge on
Manda Island in northern Kenya's Lamu Kiwayu archipelago.
Ten spacious cottages line the beach overlooking the
calm waters of Manda Bay. Manda Bay Resort is on a
secluded peninsular, close to ancient Lamu Town and
neighboring Shela but far enough away from the bustle
to enjoy total privacy. Surrounded by magnificent
coral gardens, empty beaches and indigenous woodland.
One of the best ways to explore this incredible archipelago
is under sail on Utamaduni, our beautiful 62 foot
sailing dhow. Utamaduni is a Kiswahili word meaning
way of life or culture. Manda Bay is a water sports
paradise. Its sheltered mangrove creek and the calm
waters are ideal for water skiing. This is the perfect
place to end your Africa honeymoon!

After breakfast, you
will be transferred to the airstrip where you will
board a scheduled flight to Nairobi's Wilson Airport.
Enjoy a day of last minute shopping, sightseeing,
and relaxing! After dinner, you will be transferred
to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in time to
check in for you overnight flight back home. THAT
IS WHAT WE CALL AFRICA.
