Kuota Lukenya Luxury House is situated in Maanzoni just some 45 kilometers south of Nairobi within what was once a 7,000 acre ranch, located at 5,400 feet above sea level. Kuota Lukenya Luxury House is where one can enjoy a restful quiet holiday or else find yourself in the centre of places to visit and things to do.

The house has five large bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and each with its own veranda or balcony. The 54 foot long and 50 foot high living/ dining room with its connecting balcony is an imposing African-styled concept. The uniquely designed swimming pool is solar heated.

Within our 10 acre site we have built a hard tennis court with its practice wall together with a Boule Pitch. Nearby is our 4 acre lake. Here we have a barbeque setup together with a relaxing area for Sun Downers. Kuota Lukenya Luxury House operates two comfortable and air conditioned vehicles plus a Landrover with hatches, which is used for local game drives.

* Evening Game Drives are normally undertaken with one of our drivers on a regular afternoon basis. Within a 3 mile radius of the house it is normal to see an abundance of plains game including zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, kongoni, impala, Thompson gazelle. And occasionally hyena, silver-back jackal and bush-babies.
* There are numerous walks near our house. For the more adventurous, guides can undertake a 3 or 4 hour walk with you across the plains

Animas and Plants

In the vicinity of our home and the adjoining ranch we are normally able to view a hundred or more plains game during an average evening's game drive.

None of the Big Five are residents in the area thus enabling guests to enjoy having morning walks and to view many types of animals such as Giraffe, Zebra, Hartebeests, Thompson gazelle, Eland, Impala and on occasions hyena and silver-backed jackal.

The bird life is extraordinary and during the week's visit it is not uncommon to spot and photograph 70 or more different varieties of birds.

The garden was designed and created with a large variety of succulent plants in 2002. It attracts an abundance of bird life of different varieties which thrive in this locality.
