Mutamaiyu House
is on Mugie Ranch, a forty-nine thousand acre working
ranch that rolls out across the Laikipia plains
on the edge of the Great Rift Valley situated at
the northern end of the Laikipia plateau. These
rugged plains and lush woodlands are home to the
richest diversity of wildlife, including the ‘Big
Five’.
Mutamaiyu House has four beautifully appointed cottages
that ensure peace and privacy for visitors. Each
cottage sleeps two and all have en-suite bathrooms.
The dining room, sitting room and verandah are contained
in the main house where collections of books, art
and music are available for guests to enjoy. Mutamaiyu
House has a beautiful heated swimming pool, where
a buffet lunch is often served.
