in Action Accommodation & Baby Orphanage Nakuru
is the home to over 90 children in Kenya.
It is located in Nakuru, Kenya and was founded by an
Australian couple Mary and Ivan Budulica in 2004 and
together with their children have built a safe and loving
home for young orphaned Kenyan children, giving them
support, food, clothing, and most importantly a family
environment and a chance of an education.
Mission
in Action (MIA) provides a unique holiday experience.
Based on 70 acres just outside the Rift Valley provincial
capital of Nakuru, Mission in Action provides the opportunity
to relax in luxurious surroundings, experience culinary
delights within a beautifully appointed Restaurant whilst
having the opportunity to be part of and enhance the
lives of the children that MIA provides a home for.
Mission
in Action has seven African styled huts (African thatched
round cottages) that sleep from two adults, families
and groups of eight so can also accommodate an overnight
stay with dinner and breakfast provided in the restaurant.
The
cottages each contain their own bathroom and most include
the essentials of a kitchen such as burners, a fridge
and of course pots, pans, dishes and utensils. The accommodations
are very comfortable with electricity and running water.
Day
tours to the facility, children school and a lunch stop
in the beautiful African themed restaurant can be combined.
This will give you an idea of what Mission in Action
is trying to achieve and including play time with the
kids.
