Olare Mara Kempinski

Olare Mara Kempinski is a 5-star luxury camp situated within the Olare Motorogi Conservancy in the famous Masai Mara, on the banks of the Ntiakitiak River.

The Camp can be reached either by road or by air. The distance from Nairobi to Masai Mara is approximately 250 km.  It takes around 5-6 hours by road while flying time takes about 45 minutes.  Scheduled flights land at Ol Kiombo Airstrip which is 30 minutes game drive away.

Olare Mara Kempinski has 12 suites comprising 11 deluxe suites and 1 honeymoon suite all erected on a raised deck. Each suite has a work desk, a lounge area with wide sofas and rugs, bedside lamps, a storage chest, a ceiling fan, and a furnished verandah. The bathrooms are en-suite and have a twin vanity, a shower stall, and a standalone bathtub. The honeymoon suite also has a plunge pool.

There is a lounge sited on a raised wooden deck above the river with a fireplace and a tented bar set deep within a forested glade that serves the sundowner drinks as guests enjoy the spectacular sunset. A traditional campfire area is also featured where guests can gather before or after dinner to share their experiences.

Olare Mara Kempinski Masai Mara has a wide range of dining from indoor dining or outdoor dining. Guests can enjoy their meals under canvas, outdoors by the pool, facing the camp lawns, or on a private deck area facing the Mara plains.

Elegantly presented in classic safari style, the camp’s extensive dining room delivers a subtly different experience for every meal, while in the evening it is transformed into a romantic candle-lit realm that provides a fitting backdrop to a dinner that celebrates the pure opulence of safari tradition.

The camp has a spa but can also offer massage services in the comfort of the guests’ tents. A selection of massage treatments on offer will include Swedish, classic, deep tissue, and aromatherapy. There is an outdoor swimming pool that entices you with its vibrant color to spend time in the afternoon either taking a few cooling short laps in it or a relaxed nap beside it.

The Masai Mara terrain is primarily grassland and forest with clumps of distinctive acacia trees. Famous for the abundance of lions, the great wildebeest migration, and the homeland of the Masai people, the Camp will allow guests to experience Africa at its finest.

Olare Mara Kempinski’s activities include; Maasai village visits, day game drives, horseback riding, sundowners, hot air balloon safaris, bush dinners, guided nature walks, and night game drives.
