Sanctuary Olonana Seasonal Camp, Masai Mara is located on the banks of the Mara River in a private concession. Sanctuary Olonana situated on a private stretch of the Mara River at the foot of the impressive Siria Escarpment.

There are daily scheduled flights and private charters to the Mara. Flights from Nairobi take approximately 45 minutes and luggage is restricted to 15kg per person in a soft-sided bag.

Sanctuary Olonana is located in the Masai Mara, the heart of Kenya’s big game country. Fourteen spacious en-suite tents border the banks of the Mara River where the resident hippo spend their days wallowing. A wide range of game and cultural activities are available. The great wildebeest migration is present in the Mara from around July to October each year. The camp earned a gold award from Ecotourism Kenya for its innovative wetlands and tree planting projects.

Sanctuary Olonana is a small luxury camp with 14 spacious tents. Each tent has floor to ceiling mosquito netting, en-suite bathrooms, solar lighting and large, river view verandas.

The main dining room and veranda commands a dramatic view of the Mara River providing the perfect setting for breakfast, afternoon tea and after dinner star gazing. There is a swimming pool, a mini-spa and a small gift shop. Solar power supplies 240v electricity and there is a back-up generator.

The 9 tents are furnished in a style fit for Ernest Hemingway with all of the comforts of a permanent tented camp, making this the ideal location for the ultimate safari. Sanctuary Olonana Seasonal Camp will operates from 30th June to 31st October each year and is booked on shared basis.
