Sentrim Mara Camp

Sentrim Mara Camp is a tented safari accommodation located adjacent to the Maasai Mara Game reserve, on the Ngama hills about 3 km from the Sekenani Gate. Sentrim Mara camp is situated in the Ololaimutiek area.

The Camp can be reached either by road or by air. The distance from Nairobi to Masai Mara is approximately 250 km. It takes around 5-6 hours by road while flying time takes about 45 minutes.  Scheduled flight land at Keekorok airstrip which is a 30 minutes drive from the camp.

Sentrim Mara Camp has 64 en-suite guestrooms comprising 44 tents, 14 deluxe rooms, and 3 family houses. Each guestroom is tastefully fitted with a mosquito net, closet, flush toilet, and furnished verandah. Each Family house has 2 bedrooms and a living area and is concrete and not tented. Some rooms are tented while others have stone walls.

Sentrim Mara Camp Masai Mara National Reserve has an onsite restaurant that serves various cuisines to suit guests’ needs and the meals are either buffet or a la carte. The meal plan at the lodge is on full Board.

Guests can wind down to the finest collection of wines and liquors as well as scintillating cocktails at the main bar and pool sidebar.

Guests may opt to refresh themselves after a hot day at the swimming pool. There is also a Jacuzzi and a spa where guests can relax and get body massages and other rejuvenating body treatments.

* Half Board reduction – 5 US Dollars per person will apply
* Children in their own room one or more pay 75% of the room rate
 * Christmas Supplement 35 US Dollars per person on the 25th, 26th, 31st & 1st of January
* Children are welcome. Children between 2 years and 12 years pay 50% when sharing with 2 adults
* One or two children sharing with two adults each child pays 50% per person sharing rate (Maximum 2 Children)

* The family house is sold as single units and the child policy does not apply

For bird watchers on a photo safari, Ngama Hills tented Camp offers a perfect location for birding. Because Mara Sentrim Camp is situated in a transition zone, between the bushland on the hillside and the open plains, there are so many species of birds that go through this location every now and then.

Masai Mara has the status of an IBA (Important Bird Area). Birding at Mara Sentrim Camp can be enjoyed even from the comfort of your tent as there are so many species within our compound.

Balloon Safaris

How else can you enjoy the African sunrise than from a hot air balloon over the Mara plains? This can be arranged by African Spice Safaris and the drive to the launching site is less than half an hour’s drive.
