This short Tanzania luxury Safari begins and ends in Arusha and is very popular for those who are limited on time. Experience Africa’s unique animal life and nature while staying at a tent camp in Manyara Ranch.

The tour visits one of the top wildlife destination on Tanzania’s Northern Safari Circuit – Manyara Ranch Conservancy – a 35000-acre wilderness between Tarangire and Manyara parks in Tanzania.

Originally established as a cattle ranch during Tanzania’s colonial period, Manyara Ranch is now a 45,000-acre conservancy located in a critical wildlife corridor connecting Lake Manyara and Tarangire National Parks.

Located in Makuyuni District in Manyara Region, Manyara Ranch occupies much of the space between Tarangire and Manyara National Parks.

Leaving Arusha, we travel north into the Great Rift Valley. Renowned for beautiful scenery and abundant wildlife, the Great Rift Valley stretches over 6000 kilometers north to south from Syria to Mozambique in Southern Africa.

The drive from Arusha takes only 1 hour 30 minutes. Arriving at the scenic Manyara Ranch Conservancy we embark on an extensive game drive.

Aardvark, Baboon, Buffalo, Cheetah, Eland, Giraffe, Hippopotamus, Hyena, Leopard, Lion, Oryx, Vervet Monkey, Wild Dog, and Wildebeest amongst others are just some of the more than 50 species of mammals seen year-round.

In addition to resident wildlife, migrating herds pass through the Conservancy on their way to and from nearby Tarangire National Park. Apart from mammals, around 350 species of birds have so far been identified.

We spend the late afternoon enjoying superb game viewing in the conservancy followed by a night at Manyara Ranch camp, a comfortable 8-tent classic “East-African-Style” safari camp.

The camps optional activities available at your disposal include guided walk, off-road game drives, night game drive, hides and blinds, Masai village visit and school visit.

The following morning you head out for an early morning game walk followed by breakfast in the bush. After breakfast, proceed on another game drive to explore the northernmost parts of the conservancy to return to camp for lunch.

Later we make our way back to Arusha arriving late afternoon bringing our 2-day Tanzania  short Safari to a close.
