5 Days 4 Nights Kenya Fly-in Safari Sweetwaters Masai Mara

5 Days 4 Nights Kenya Fly-in Safari Sweetwaters Masai Mara combines two of Kenya’s finest reserves with exciting transfer by light aircraft. You will visit the lesser-known park the Ol Pejeta Sweetwaters conservancy and the ‘Big Five’ destination of the Masai Mara.

A country so vast, rich in culture and enjoying an abundance of wildlife, Kenya has so much to offer. Experience dramatic scenery and close encounters with the ‘Big Five’ in Kenya’s best game reserves.

Once a colonial beef ranch, the Sweetwaters/ Ol Pejeta Conservancy is now a leading wildlife sanctuary. Backdropped by Mount Kenya’s snowy peaks, the 90,000-acre (36,422-hectare) savanna preserve is home to several safari must-sees, including East Africa’s largest black rhino population and the last northern white rhinos in the world.

it’s possible to spot all of Africa’s Big Five—plus endangered cheetahs, chimpanzees, and Grevy’s zebras—on a safari tour of Ol Pejeta.

A safari to Kenya would be incomplete without time in the famed Maasai Mara and this itinerary is no exception. From Sweetwaters/ Ol Pejeta Conservancy fly by light aircraft over the Great Rift Valley and into the heart of the Maasai Mara.

The Masai Mara is home to some of the best wildlife viewing in Africa. If you are here in August or September, you may catch sight of the Great Migration, where two million wildebeest and zebra flood the grassy savannah plains, and big cats lie in wait for the perfect moment to pounce.

Year-round the wildlife here is incredible, though, with pods of hippos wallowing in the mud, herds of elephants, prides of lazy lions lounging on the top of the rocky kopjes and cheetahs who have even been known to sit on the roof of a safari vehicle as a vantage point.
