6 Days 5 Nights Kenya Fly-in Safari Amboseli Masai Mara

6 Days 5 Nights Kenya Fly-in Safari to Amboseli and Masai Mara is a comprehensive 6-day luxury Kenya safari encompassing some of Kenya’s leading National Parks and Reserves. See Amboseli National Park, famous for its views of Mount Kilimanjaro and good numbers of elephants and the world-renowned Masai Mara.

Starting from Nairobi, this itinerary flies you to Amboseli – an area dominated by the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro for 2 nights before heading for 3 nights to the Masai Mara, an area renowned for its big cats. To save you the long driving times between the parks short scheduled flights have been used on this itinerary.

Amboseli is justly famous for its big game – elephant, lion and cheetah are the main attractions – and for its great scenic beauty.

Our 2 days in Amboseli will be spent on activities such as day game drives in custom-built 4×4 traditional safari vehicles, sundowners on Observation Hill, bush breakfasts, bush dinners, Masai dance performances, visits to Masai villages and tree-planting programmes.

Our next holiday destination will be the Masai Mara – the most famous and popular safari destination in Kenya. The highlight of the Masai Mara is, without a doubt, the Great Migration, an annual movement of millions of wildebeest, gazelle and zebra migrating between neighbouring Tanzania and the Kenyan park.

Seeing the dramatic daily scenes of the Great Migration – the massive, noisy herds, the animals making the perilous crossing of the crocodile-infested Mara River and the thrilling big cat hunts – are among the best and most exciting wildlife experiences you can have in Africa.

Apart from the Great Migration, the Masai Mara has excellent wildlife viewing throughout the year, and sightings of the Big Five – leopard, lion, elephant, rhino and buffalo.

Masai Mara activities include game drives which are the main focus to sunrise hot air balloon rides over the plains, cultural visits to local Maasai villages, picnics and sundowners in the bush, and horseback rides. Some lodges and camps offer a host of kids’ activities such as storytelling, bow and arrow shooting and fire making.
