This 7 day Tanzania road safari explores Tanzania’s northern safari circuit home to the world-famous Serengeti and Ngorongoro and the lesser-known parks of Lake Manyara & Tarangire. We begin with two nights in by Tarangire National Park, Africa’s best places to see elephants up close, hosting about 4000 elephants and other animals such as giraffes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, baboons, etc. Tarangire is also home to over 100 bird species. On day three, we transfer to Lake Manyara National Park known for its tree-climbing lions, often spotted sleeping in the trees as well as its big baboon troops. 7 Days 6 Nights Mount Kilimanjaro Climbing, Hiking & Trekking (Lemosho Route) - Tanzania
Beginning and ending in Arusha or Moshi Tanzania, this 7-day hiking & trekking tour package on Lemosho Route is a guided trek to the summit of Kilimanjaro, widely considered as the best hiking trail on the mountain. One of the main advantages of hiking along the Lemosho Route is the higher success rate in reaching the summit, because the route is one of the longest which allows for more time to acclimatize. In addition to maximizing your chances of standing on the Roof of Africa, the relatively new Lemosho Route is also one of the most beautiful and remote routes. Owing to the remoteness of this scenic route you will encounter less foot traffic along much of your hike. The Lemosho route starts off from the west, beginning with a long drive from Moshi or Arusha to Londorossi Gate. Then we continue along a bumpy track for 15km to the starting point of the Lemosho Route. From there, the first two days are spent trekking through the lush rainforest to Shira Plateau. The Lemosho route joins the Machame route at Shira 2 Camp and then follows the same route through the southern circuit and descending at Mweka Gate.
7 Days 6 Nights Mount Kilimanjaro Climbing, Hiking & Trekking (Rongai route) - Tanzania
This 7- Day Kilimanjaro Hike follows the Rongai Route, the only route that approaches Kilimanjaro from the north, close to the Kenyan border. This is one of the easiest and least traveled hiking routes up the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro. Lying in the rain shadow of Kilimanjaro, the Rongai route is one of the best routes to attempt Kilimanjaro during the rainy season, as it gets less rain than the southern routes. Starting from the Rongai gate, the route traverses several diverse climate zones, and each produces its own amazing views and experiences. Because of its remote location, the route offers trekkers a relatively unspoilt wilderness experience where it is possible to see large wildlife like antelope, elephant, and buffalo. Heading up to Kikelewa Caves on day two, the views start to open up, with the Amboseli Plains of Kenya stretching into the distance. The route continues up to the mountain’s second summit at Mawenzi, before crossing the Saddle, a barren plain that connects the two peaks of Mawenzi and Kibo. After reaching the summit, the descent is along the more heavily traveled Marangu route, offering you the chance to see Mount Kilimanjaro from both sides.
