Solio Lodge

8 Days 7 Nights Kenya Fly-in Safari Nairobi Solio Masai Mara; This luxury seven-night Kenya safari combines three beautiful lodges and three different regions.

You will begin the safari with a night at the magical Giraffe Manor. Here you will have close encounters with the resident Rothchild’s giraffes. They will often inquisitively stick their necks through the dining room windows while you are having breakfast.

Next, we fly to Solio Ranch (Solio Game Reserve) for three nights staying at exquisite Solio Lodge. Solio Ranch is a privately owned wildlife conservancy located in the Greater Laikipia, not far from the foothills of the Aberdare Mountains.

Solio Reserve has been extremely successful in breeding black rhinos and is home to a good variety of other wildlife. A wonderfully varied roster of activities here includes game drives, horse riding, a visit to a Kenya coffee plantation and bird watching.

You can also take a helicopter to nearby Mount Kenya and for a hilltop picnic breakfast or go trout fishing in the Aberdare National Park. Back at the Lodge you can relax with the help from the massage therapists who are available for in-room treatments.

You will then head into the heart of the Masai Mara for 3 nights with a stay at Sala’s Camp, a stylish and luxury riverside tented camp in a prime wildlife area, famous for its big cats, and in an excellent position for the Great Migration between late June and September.

Sala’s is located in the deep south of Maasai Mara National Reserve, close to the Tanzanian border. Activities here include sundowners, game drives, bush volley ball (seasonal), nature walks, balloon rides, in-room massage and children’s activities.
