From Arusha, the journey by road takes (4 hours) 190 km/ 119 miles. The nearest town is Karatu, which is about 30 km away.

Things to do while at the Andbeyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge include game drives on the Crater floor; walks within the lodge grounds; crater floor banquets; day trips to Olduvai Gorge and Shifting Sands; walking safaris on Empakai Crater Black rhino, magnificently tusked elephants, flamingos, hyena, lion, etc.

Day 1 & 2: Arusha Fly to Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Arusha Airport for your scheduled flight to Manyara Airstrip. You will be met by a representative from Andbeyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge for your road transfer, 2 hours, to the lodge.

Spend two nights at Andbeyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge. Accommodation is in a sumptuous double suite. Each suite is tended by a butler. Your stay is on a fully inclusive basis including scheduled activities and park fees.

Activities include one game-drive safari on the Crater floor and a visit to a Masai village (Visit to the Masai Village are subject availability of vehicles). Additional activities may be booked directly at the lodge, subject to extra cost and availability of vehicles.

Such activities include excursions to Olduvai Gorge and Shifting Sands and a walk at Empakai Crater. Massages are offered for those who need to relax after a day’s game-viewing.

Day 3: Transfer to Lake Manyara & Fly to Arusha – Departure

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Manyara Airstrip for your scheduled flight to Arusha Airport. On arrival at 12:45 you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport where our services end.
