Diani Beachalets Cottages is situated on Diani Beach, approximately 35 kilometers from Mombasa town. The Ukunda Airstrip is about 8.3 kilometers from the cottages.
Diani Beachalets Cottages has 28 cottages which vary from 1 to 4 bedrooms. Each cottage has a dining area, living rooms, and a spacious veranda. There is also a well-equipped kitchen with a fridge, a cooker, gas for cooking, and all cooking utensils (extra utensils on request).
Some cottages have sea views while other cottages have garden views. Each bedroom is en-suite and features a mosquito net, bedding, and closet. Change of bed linen is done after every 3rd night. If the booking is 7 days or more, the cottage will get cleaned and bedding changed every 4 days.
Guests can appreciate conveniences like a dining area and an electric kettle, and other amenities include a furnished balcony and a rainfall shower. Housekeeping is available on request. Rooms open to furnished balconies or patios. Diani Beachalets boasts a sun terrace and views of the sea.
The cottages are on a self-catering basis and guests are welcome to prepare their own meals or have the cook prepare meals for them. The superior cottages also have a microwave oven, toaster, and water dispenser.
Some of the chalets have views of the lush garden with large green lawns where children can play. The other chalets all have beautiful sea views. On request guests can arrange to have a cook and cleaner to assist during their stay, at a small extra fee. Electricity is metered and at the guest’s own expense during their stay.
Activities in Diani Beachalets Cottages include; snorkeling, diving, kite surfing, and windsurfing. The beach also provides an ideal venue for team building. Areas of interest near the cottages include Colobus Trust Monkey Conservation Centre, Shimba Hills National Reserve, Kisite Marine Park, and Kaya Kinondo Sacred Forest.
