The camp is located outside Nakuru Park in a quiet area away from the city noise with panoramic views of Lake Nakuru and Nakuru town. One can be at the camp by Road transport which takes approximately 3- 4 hours to drive from Nairobi to  Nakuru and  40 minutes to fly from  Nairobi to a close Nakuru airstrip.

The beautiful camp was put in place to sustain Springs of Hope Kenya Children’s Home and also benefits our local community. Kambi Amani is not only a destination with a purpose but it also has the absolute best hilltop views of Lake Nakuru. You can also see the entire city of Nakuru as well as surrounding villages and local mountain ranges.

Kambi Amani is under a group of friends who wants campers, weekend gateways, and couples. The camp has 8  comfortable tents built-in African traditional building style with local stones and grass thatched roofs with modern comfort.

Tents are well decorated and furnished with private en suite facilities like flushing toilets,  hot and cold showers/ bathtubs, mosquito nets, and hair driers with terraces, sitting areas, and verandas, you relax while enjoying the stunning views of the whole lake Nakuru, Nakuru town with beautiful sunrises and sunsets and surrounding areas. 

There are fireplaces at the camp that provides warmth to visitors during cold nights.  Tents vary in different categories and different sizes; single, double, twin, and triple/family rooms. The camp features restrooms and shower rooms, dining and sitting areas, a sun terrace, a kitchen, a barbeque, and a beautiful patio area with a fire pit.

Kambi Amani Eco Camp Nakuru has an onsite restaurant serving local and International cuisine. Guests can enjoy their meals in the indoor and outdoor dining areas.  There are several accommodations in lake Nakuru national park; budget, mid-range, and luxury accommodations which are all friendly and convenient to guests visiting lake Nakuru national park.
