Matira Adventure Camp Masai Mara

Matira adventure camp is a tented safari accommodation located in the heart of the Masai Mara Game Reserve at the junction of the Mara River and the Talek River. The camp is just a few steps on the Matira natural bridge and right next to the Matira Main Camp.

The Camp can be reached either by road or by air. The distance from Nairobi to Masai Mara is approximately 250 km. It takes around 5-6 hours by road while flying time take about 45 minutes. Ole kiombo airstrip is 9 km away and it’s the closest airstrip from the camp.

Matira adventure camp has 6 tents here have comfortable beds in double or twin tents. The adjoining bathroom is equipped with bucket showers and running water toilets. The ideal combination of bush experience with simple comfort for adventurers.

The camp has campfire to enable the guest to settle comfortably evening by campfire that exudes warmth and allows the magic of the African night with the sounds of the wilderness to become an experience.

The lounge and dining room areas offer a wide range of drinks and international cuisine with a regional touch in a pleasant atmosphere. Our dishes are freshly prepared and served in the dining tent under the shady old trees and open sky.
