Papillon Lagoon Reef Hotel Diani Beach

Papillon Lagoon Reef Hotel is built in traditional Swahili style and is nestled within exotic gardens, directly on the beautiful beaches of Diani South Coast Mombasa. The resort is about 32 kilometers south of Mombasa.

Papillon Lagoon Reef Hotel Diani Beach consist 150 guestrooms made up of 16 family rooms, 110 garden rooms, and 24 beachfront rooms. Each en-suite guestroom features a mosquito net, safe deposit box, telephone, and ceiling fan. Each family room can accommodate up to 4 guests. The room is well situated on the second floor and clients enjoy a large balcony overlooking the beach and sea.

The Family rooms can accommodate up to a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children 11 years old in a large room divided by a curtain, each half with its own small bathroom (both with a shower). Bookings of 4 clients (2 adults and 2 children 11 years old) will be given priority for this room category. We do not accept bookings for more than 2 adults in the category of room.

The Garden rooms can accommodate a maximum of 3 adults. Bookings for 1, 2, and 3 adults will be allocated in the Garden rooms which are the same price (per person) as the Family rooms. This category of the room can accommodate a maximum of 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child.

The Beachfront Rooms are more luxurious and have a double bed and can accommodate a maximum of 2 adults only. We cannot add an extra bed to this room category. The number of rooms is limited and is available at a supplementary cost.

The Suite room, a new addition to the hotel, has a large bedroom with a king-sized double bed and a separate living room with a bar area. The room has an en-suite, a large bathroom with twin sinks, a bathtub, a separate shower, and a hairdryer. Facilities in the suite include two large, wall-mounted TVs, a daily, stocked mini-bar, tea/coffee-making facilities, and a safe.

The Baobab Restaurant is a spacious buffet-style restaurant with an open-air terrace, serving international and Kenyan cuisine.

The Bistro Bar and Restaurant is a poolside restaurant and also a venue for evening entertainment and barbecues. The 2 bars; the pool bar and beach bar serve a wide selection of alcoholic and soft drinks.

The hotel features an outdoor pool and separate children’s pool, water sports center, well-equipped fitness center, and children’s play area. The white beach and the well-manicured lawns offer ideal venues for weddings.

There is a massage/beauty salon where guests can enjoy mind and body-rejuvenating treatments. Guests may watch or dance to a selection of various live African bands, traditional dances and musicians, acrobats, and local folklore.

Activities in Papillon Lagoon Reef Hotel Diani Beach Mombasa South Coast include scuba diving, deep-sea fishing, glass-bottom boat, snorkeling, and windsurfing. There are also indoor games, 2 tennis courts, pool volleyball, and beach volleyball.
