Sentrim Camp Tsavo East National Park

Sentrim Camp Tsavo East National Park is a tented safari accommodation located in Tsavo East National Park, 345 km from Nairobi and 11 km from Voi Gate.  The camp is 40 km from the Buchuma Gate and approximately 2 hours drive from Mombasa. Malindi is 167 km from the camp.

The camp has the atmosphere of the pioneer camps of long ago while providing the luxurious experience of a permanent camp with modern amenities.

Sentrim Camp Tsavo East National Park has 25 tented rooms made up of 20 standard tented and 5 deluxe rooms, all on elevated platforms. Each room has tea/coffee-making facilities, a closet, a work desk, and a mosquito net. 

The bathrooms are en-suite and have showers and flush toilets. Each tent has a spacious private patio with safari chairs and offers spectacular views of the sunsets and the hills, which have abundant wildlife.

The onsite restaurant serves a variety of local and international cuisines. Guests enjoy their meals in the spacious and well-lit dining area. The well-stocked bar serves both alcoholic and soft drinks.

There is an outdoor swimming pool in Sentrim Camp Tsavo East and has a terrace with sunbeds where guests can have a dip in the hot Tsavo afternoons. The camp also has barbecue facilities. 

Tsavo East National Park Wildlife highlights: Larger mammals include lion, leopard, elephant, black rhino, hippo, giraffe, lesser kudu, oryx, Cape buffalo, zebra, yellow baboon, waterbuck, gemsbok, Coke’s hartebeest, gerenuk, and gazelle. Birds: The prolific bird life features 500 recorded species.

Sentrim Camp Tsavo East National Park activities include; game drives, guided walks, village visits, Maasai cultural talks, and balloon safaris.

Guests can also enjoy visits to the Taita Hills, Sagalla Hills, Mzima Springs, Luggard Falls, Tsavo River Railway Station, and Voi Commonwealth War Graves Cemetery from 1914/ 16.
