Treetops Lodge Tree Hotel Aberdare

Treetops Lodge Tree Hotel Aberdare was a 3.5-star accommodation located in the heart of the dense forest in the Aberdare National Park, 17 km from its base Camp, and the Outspan Hotel. The lodge is 180 km from Nairobi and the journey takes approximately 3 hours by road.

Treetops Lodge Nyeri tree house lodge on stilts is famous as the place where Queen Elizabeth II visited as a princess and left as queen. The lodge is set facing a water hole and a salt lick in the Aberdare National Park.

Treetops Lodge Tree Hotel Aberdare had 32 standard rooms and 3 suites all tastefully furnished.  There is a family room for our guests who would like to spend some time watching television. The rooms have desks, luggage racks for the safari suitcases, and en-suite bathrooms with showers/ bathtubs.

The suites have a sitting area with expansive windows offering an amazing view of the watering hole and salt lick area. Buzzers are fitted in the rooms to alert guests when there are animals at the watering hole.

The dining area has an intimate setup designed to help guests savor the scenic views while enjoying delicious meals. There are mini-chandeliers illuminating all the tables and restaurant furniture.

The rooftop terrace is an admirable place to view the watering hole. Treetops Lodge Tree Hotel Aberdare has a good bar stocked with a fine array of cold and hot beverages. Guests can enjoy the refreshing drinks at the lounge or read the animal sighting books at the lounge library.

The Treetops meeting room can host 14 guests comfortably and is fully equipped with a flat-screen for presentations, Wi-Fi internet, a Printer, and a Scanner. The room is ideal for corporate events or any small groups like families requiring to meet in an intimate place.

Treetops Lodge Tree Hotel Aberdare activities include; trout fishing, nature walks, horse riding, banqueting, sundowners, and game drives. These two photographic hides were on the ground level and on the rooftop viewing deck where guests enjoy close-up photography of animals.
