Voi Wildlife Lodge Tsavo East

Voi Wildlife Lodge Tsavo East is located in the heart of elephant country in the Savannah grasslands of Tsavo East, just 5 kilometers off the Nairobi-Mombasa highway. The lodge is 340 kilometers from Nairobi and about 165 kilometers from Mombasa.

Voi Wildlife Lodge Tsavo East has 88 guestrooms comprising 24 luxury rooms, 48 superior, 16 standard rooms, and 20 tented rooms which can accommodate up to 300 guests. Each guestroom features a 4-poster bed, mosquito net, and a verandah furnished with safari chairs.

The tented rooms have zip-up entrances and feature double or twin beds, a mosquito net, and a stand fan. The bathrooms are attached at the back and each has a flush toilet and safari shower.

The onsite restaurant; Tembo Restaurant is constructed using local makuti thatch and offers a unique dining experience with views across the plains of Tsavo East and the nearby waterhole.

The restaurant serves a wide selection of international and vegetarian cuisine. Voi Wildlife Lodge Tsavo East has conference halls that can accommodate up to 600 guests. The halls are air-conditioned and have state-of-the-art equipment. There is a well-manicured garden that is ideal for weddings and other outdoor functions.

The Safari Spa Bar and lounge offer a spectacular game-viewing platform both at night and day. The bar is designed on stilts overlooking the waterhole and offers a wide range of alcoholic and soft drinks.

Next to the Tembo Restaurant is the Mandhari Bar which provides an alternative setting in which to view games and enjoy a sundowner before dinner.

The Safari Spa has a steam bath, sauna, Jacuzzi, cold bath, and 5 treatment rooms. The spa treatments include massage, reflexology, and aromatherapy which are perfect for body rejuvenation.

There is a health club that comprises a well-equipped gymnasium, with an adjacent room designed for aerobics and yoga classes. The club has qualified instructors to assist guests with the equipment and fitness sessions. There is also a Discovery Area complete with a mini-library, TV, and DVD facilities.

Activities at Voi Wildlife Lodge Tsavo East include; a children’s outdoor recreation area, a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, 2 badminton courts, a volleyball court as well as table tennis, and a pool table. Guests can also enjoy game drives, bush walks, bird watching, and game viewing.
