Kijiji Cottages Diani Beach overlooks the beautiful tropical paradise of Diani Beach on the shores of Indian Ocean, 25 kilometers south of Mombasa town.
Ukunda airstrip is about 5 minutes drive from Kijiji Cottages. The cottages are all individually owned share the compound with Warandale Cottages, which also has cottages to let.
Kijiji Cottages has 5 cottages namely Almond cottage, Bonde Cottage, Spring cottage, Kasuku Cottage and Komba Cottage.
Almond cottage has 2 en-suite bedrooms; 1 double room and 1 with 3 single beds all with fans.
There is bright and airy lounge that leads to an outside verandah with sea view, a fully equipped kitchen and a dining room which also leads out to an outdoor patio with sea view.
Bonde cottage is built up on a small coral cliff overlooking the sea and has 3 floors. There are 3 bedrooms all with fans.
The cottage has a well equipped kitchen and a large outdoor terrace with sofas and sun beds and great sea views.
There is also a massage table in the top bathroom. Spring cottage has 4 en-suite bedrooms; 3 doubles and 1 twin.
There is a large terrace on the first floor with well equipped kitchen, a large dining table and room for sitting and relaxing with sea views and a good breeze.
There is also another smaller covered seated area with good views on the second floor terrace where there are also sun beds.
The first floor with one double can be rented by itself. Kasuku cottage has 3 double en-suite guestrooms that can comfortably accommodate 6 guests.
There is a well equipped kitchen and large open indoor dining/sitting room on the ground floor and an extra outdoor shaded dining table.
The cottage has a large outdoor seating area overlooking the sea. Komba cottage does not have a sea view but has 3 en-suite guestrooms that can comfortably accommodate 6 guests.
All guestrooms are air conditioned. There is a well equipped kitchen, large living room and private walled garden-patio area.
The cottages are whitewashed with thatched roofs and are on self catering basis where guests are welcomed to prepare their own meals or have the cook prepare meals for them.
Kijiji Cottages Diani Beach has an outdoor swimming pool where guests can take a dip and relax on the sun loungers.
Guests may participate in activities near the cottages like beach dhow sailing, village visits, fishing, boat rides, scuba diving and snorkeling.
Shimba Hills National Reserve is about an hour drive from the cottages.
