The cottage is about  25 kilometers south of Mombasa town and Ukunda airstrip is about 5 minutes drive away.

The cottage has terracotta tiled floors, whitewashed walls and thatched roofs. It is surrounded by lush gardens overlooking the gardens.

It also has bookshelves filled with books, local artifacts and African paintings. The cottage has 2 bedrooms with a shared bathroom and sleeps 4 guests.

There is a well equipped kitchen and a dining room and courtyard with outside dining.

The cottage is on self catering basis where guests are welcomed to prepare their own meals or have the cook prepare meals for them.
