Mara Enkipai Safari is located at the edge of the Masai Mara Game Reserve and on the banks of the Mara River, 260 kilometers from Nairobi. The camp is set on the location of Jacqueline Roumeguere’s home, just a kilometer away from the Oloololo Gate.
Mara Enkipai Safari Camp comprises of 8 spacious traditional safari tents comfortably designed with furniture made by the local craftsmen using local material. Each tent has an en-suite bathroom, with a traditional safari shower.
Lunches and dinners within the camp are served to you either in the lounge / dining area, or on the verandah of guest’s tent. Meals are prepared from the fresh produce grown in the camp’s organic garden. Picnic lunch is prepared for those who prefer to lunch out in the wild.
Activities in the camp are game drives, cultural village visits, guided walks, sundowners and hot air balloon safaris. Children’s activities include fishing and learn to use bows and arrows.
