Mara Gypsy Luxury Safari Camp is a luxury safari camp located in the Siana Conservancy on the foothills of Magwara Mountain, 10 minutes from the Maasai Mara National Reserve through Olololaimutia Gate. Nairobi is 6 hours drive away.
The camp has 8 luxury tents set on raised wooden verandas. Each tent is uniquely furnished and has an open plan sleeping and lounge area leading to the verandah.
There is a deck with sun loungers, private dining area, private campfire, and en-suite bathroom with twin butterfly headed shower, mixer taps and flush toilets. Each tent has a personal butler.
There is a beautifully designed makuti/thatched terrace built using all natural native materials where guests can enjoy the very highest culinary standards and fine wines as they gaze out across the breath-taking views of the Mara.
Guests can also dine in their own tents or alfresco and they can also sit under the stars around the Bell Top Campfire for a barbeque and reminisce on the day’s adventures. Guests also have the option of dining in the romantic dining pods when they are seeking seclusion.
Activities in the camp are bird watching, star gazing, nature walks, sundowners, village visits, game drives , tree top massage and jungle pedicure and manicure. Weddings are also hosted in the camp.
