Day 1, 2 & 3: Arrive in Nairobi – Transfer to Wilson – Fly to Amboseli National Park
On arrival into Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be met by an African Spice Safaris representative who will transfer you to Wilson Airport.

You will take the 0815 Hours Safarilink flight to Amboseli National Park.

You will be collected from the airstrip and taken to Tortilis Camp, where you will be greeted by the beauty of Africa’s largest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro.

Accommodation is booked for 3 nights on a full board basis.

Amboseli is best known for its unrivalled views of Kilimanjaro, and its large elephant population. Tortilis Camp is named after the flat-topped, umbrella thorn tree, the Acacia Tortilis.

The camp is situated in one of Amboseli's areas of Acacia Tortilis woodland, with the majestic backdrop of Africa's highest mountain, and the World’s highest free-standing mountain, snow-capped Kilimanjaro.

Game drives, walks, sundowners and bush meals take place both inside the Park, and within the camp’s private 30,000 acre game concession.

Tortilis Camp’s tents are all large and spacious, with elegant en suite bathrooms.

After breakfast you will be transferred to the airstrip for the 0905 Safarilink scheduled flight to Wilson where you will connect with the scheduled flight to the Masai Mara departing at 1000 Hours.

On arrival you will be met by a representative from Elephant Pepper Camp who will transfer you to the camp with game viewing en route. Accommodation is booked for 3 nights on a full board basis.

Elephant Pepper Camp is a small and exclusive safari camp, situated in the heart of the Masai Mara’s protected Mara North Conservancy.

Day 1: Nairobi – Fly to Meru National Park
0800 Hours: After breakfast your hotel/ residence, we transfer you to Wilson Domestic Airport for your scheduled flight to Meru National Park.

0915 Hours: Our flight departs Wilson airport for Meru. We enjoy aerial views of the amazing landscape.

1025 Hours: Upon arrival Meru Airstrip inside Meru National Park, we depart for our game drive en route to our lodge.

1300 Hours: We arrive at Offbeat Meru Camp, check-in and lunch follows.

1530 Hours: Depart for the afternoon game drive in Meru National Park. The park has excellent game viewing opportunities.

Some of the animals you will see include lion, leopard, cheetah, high numbers of elephant and buffalo, black and white rhino’s, eland, gerenuk, beisa Oryx, Grant’s gazelle, Burchell’s zebra, lesser kudu and reticulated giraffe as well as over 280 species of birds.

Day 2 & Day 3 : Full Days in Meru National Park
The next two days we spend time exploring Meru National Park – noted for its fauna and natural beauty. Meru National Park has many swamps and rivers lined with palms, as well as mountains and woodlands.

Meru National Park is the setting for Joy Adamson's book "Born Free", which was later made into a successful film.

The park is home to a large pride of lions, herds of buffalo, and hippos and crocodiles that live in the rivers.

Game viewing includes elephants, hippos, lions, leopards and cheetahs. There are also some rare antelope, including the Lesser Kudu, duiker and dik-dik.

Meru National Park also has some of Kenya's largest herds of buffalo, along with hartebeests, giraffes and gazelles.

Over 300 species of birds have been recorded in Meru National Park, including the ostriches, hornbills, secretary birds, eagles and other smaller birds.

There is much to do from Meru camp. The team can arrange both day and evening game drives in fully equipped custom designed Landover’s/ Land cruisers.

You can take short, guided walks, enjoy traditional bush breakfasts and sundowners and fishing is also very popular from this Camp.

We can also arrange day trips to Elsa’s & Pippa’s graves (where Joy Adamson’s ashes are also scattered), visits to the rhino sanctuary and also the Local Boran community school.

Day 4: Meru National Park – Drive to Sosian Private Wildlife Ranch Laikipia
This morning after an early breakfast, you will be transferred by road to Sosian – a 24,000 acre private wildlife and cattle ranch in the heart of Laikipia, Kenya.

This is an interesting and scenic drive via Nanyuki town and takes approximately 5 hours. You will arrive a Sosian in time for lunch by the pool and an afternoon walk or game drive.

From game drives, to horse riding, to walking, fishing, birding and cattle ranching, there is a huge amount that one can do when staying in the beautifully renovated farm house.

Whether you are on safari with your family, friends or on your honeymoon, Sosian can provide both adventure and relaxation in the African bush.

On our afternoon game drive we are likely to see Beisa Oryx, Grant's gazelle, ostrich and cheetah.

Laikipia boosts a population of 80% of the rare Grevy's zebra and Jackson's hartebeest in its region.

0945 Hours: We board our scheduled flight from Nairobi Wilson Airport and fly to Loldia airstrip in Lake Naivasha.

1005 Hours: Upon arrival we transfer to Chui Lodge or Kiangazi House (approximately 30 minutes drive).

This is an incredible lush, indigenous forest protected within the Nguruman Hills which is home to a large number of Colobus monkey and the smaller Mountain Elephants.
