Masaimara Springs Camp is located on Oloolaimutia hills near Ololaimutia Springs in Ololaimutiek, North-West of the Masai Mara. The camp is 0.5 kilometers from Oloolaimutia gate of the Mara Reserve and 230 kilometers from Nairobi.

The camp is an exclusive Tourist camp uniquely situated within the Maasai Mara ecosystem and near Ololaimutia Springs, which acts as a watering point for wild animals like elephants, antelopes, and buffalos, among others.

There 6 permanent tents comprising of double bed tents, twin bed tents and single bed tents. Each tent is fitted with mosquito net, verandah and en-suite bathroom with flush toilet and hot shower.

The onsite restaurant serves local dishes and guests can enjoy their meals in the spacious open-sided dining and lounge area. The fully stocked bar offers a variety of beverages, wines and liquors.

Mara Springs Safari Camp Masai Mara is located on the foot of the Naunare Hills alongside the forested banks of Sekenani River. The camp is 3 kilometers from the main entrance of the Masai Mara Game Reserve and about 245 kilometers from Nairobi.

There are 35 self contained tents, each with mosquito nets, furnished patio and en-suite bathroom with hot shower and flush toilet. There is a well shaded campsite where guests can also pitch their own tents.

Mara Springs Safari Camp Masai Mara has a large spacious mess which serves mainly as a dining hall. The meals served are a mix of African and continental buffets. There are also public and private dining areas for guests. Drinks are served from our well stocked bar and guests can enjoy them around the bonfires.

The campsite also has a cooking mess area and dining mess area strategically located convenience facilities at close quarters. Guests can conveniently choose between full board stay or self catering- do-it-yourself option.

Mara Sidai Camp Masai Mara

Mara Sidai Camp Masai Mara is located in the Masai Mara Game Reserve about 0.8 kilometers from the Ololaimutiek Gate on the South – Eastern end of the Mara Triangle. Nairobi is 250 kilometers from the camp and it takes about 45 minutes by air.

The camp has 23 permanent tents comprising of single tents, double tents and triple tents. Each self contained tent features 4 poster bed(s), mosquito net, luggage rack, veranda with safari chairs and en-suite bathroom with hot shower and flush toilet.

The camp has an onsite restaurant that serves original recipes that capture the taste of long gone colonial days from French, English, Italian and Danish classical cooking. Exotic traditional Kenyan meals and international meals are also served. Guests can enjoy their meals in the dining tent or beneath the starlit African night.

There is a fully stocked bar that serves a variety of alcoholic drinks and soft drinks. Guests can enjoy their drinks in the bar or in the lounge as they unwind on the day’s activities.

Lighting is provided by a diesel run generator which runs from 1830 Hours in the evening up to 2200 Hours. Solar lamps are provided in case of generator failure guaranteeing continuity in lighting. Sockets are provided in all tents for charging of digital cameras and mobile phones.

Mara Kima Camp

Mara Kima Camp is located in the Masai Mara near the Talek Gate. The tented camp is only 5 minutes from the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Hippo Pool Viewpoint is 5 kilometers away from the camp and the picnic Spot is 20 kilometers from the camp.

The camp has 6 simple and rustic permanent tents that accommodates up to 12 guests. Each tent features hatched roof 2 tables and 2 folding canvas armchairs, terrace and en-suite bathroom with sink and flush toilet.

Meals prepared from local produce, are served in the open sided dining room. The bar has a selection of soft drinks, beers and wines. Electricity is provided by solar power. The camp has implemented strict policies on waste disposal, water use and energy saving devises.

Activities in the Mara Kima Camp include game drives, cultural visits to local Maasai villages, visit local schools. Mara Kima Tented Camp is affiliated to Subukia Bandas, on Muringa Farm, the former home of Mama Daktari, Kenya’s most famous flying doctor.

Muringa Farm offers activities such as paragliding, horse riding, camel riding, mountain biking and trekking, and also has an eco-volunteering programme. Programmes include assisting with a local orphanage, helping people with disabilities, treating domestic and wild animals and environmental conservation. Mara Explorers Camp Backpackers

Mara Explorers Camp Backpackers is situated in the Sekenani area in the Masai Mara Eco system, just 3.8 kilometers from the Sekenani gate of the Maasai Mara National Reserve. The camp is approximately 220 kilometers from Nairobi and it takes about 5-6 hours drive.

The camp has different accommodation facilities; budget dome tent, en-suite cottages, en-suite safari tent and even gusted camping with their own tent and beddings. The en-suite bathrooms have private toilet and hot showers. The shared bathrooms have pit latrine toilet block and hot shower facilities.

Guests have the option of using the self catering kitchen or make use of the onsite restaurant. The kitchen is fitted with a sink with running water, cutlery, basic utensils and a gas stove. Maji Moto Eco Camp Masai Mara

Maji Moto Eco Camp Masai Mara is nested in Maji Moto village on a hilltop in the Loita Hills overlooking vast savannah plains in the Masai Mara National Reserve. Narok town is 41 Kilometers from the camp, 3 hours drive from Nairobi and an hour’s drive from the Sekenani Gate of the Masai Mara National Reserve.

Maji Moto Eco Camp Masai Mara structures are built Masai-style using only local materials such as branches and stalks, grass, cow dung and stone. There are 9 Igloo-type tents furnished with mattresses, pillows, beddings and towels and are secluded with private relaxing spot and a view. Bathroom facilities are shared.

Fresh food is brought each day from the nearest town. All meals are prepared by the camp's Masai cook in a simple but delicious way, blending traditional Kenyan and international cuisine.

Careful water usage in this dry ecosystem is very important. Toilets are long-drop design to minimize waste water. Water for showers is brought by donkey from the natural hot spring in the village, so water heaters are not needed. Guests are encouraged to take a dip in the spring in the evening.

Candles, lanterns and camp fires are used for light in the evening. For the camp fire, only dry fallen wood and “green charcoal briquettes” are used. Small solar panels provide electricity for recharging cameras and mobile phones.

Lenchada Tourist Camp Masai Mara is a budget and eco-friendly tented camp in Maasai Mara situated on Oloolaimutia hills on the boundary of the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, about 300 km (6 hour drive) from Nairobi.

Fisi Camp Masai Mara is situated on the slopes of the Oloolaimutia Hill on the edge of the famous Maasai Mara National Reserve . The camp is about 4 kilometers from the Oloolaimutia village and a kilometer to the Oloolaimutia Gate.

Enchoro Wildlife Camp Masai Mara

Enchoro Wildlife Camp Masai Mara is located on the slopes of the Oloolaimutia Hills on the east side of the Masai Mara Game Reserve, 270 Kilometers(6 hours drive) away from Nairobi in the South Rift and 80 kilometers from the Narok town(3 hours drive).

The tented camp has 25 canvas tents, each with writing desk with foldable safari chairs, locker and en-suite bathroom with flush toilets and showers, sinks mirror. Guests can relax on the balcony with safari foldable camp chairs and a circular wooden table where you can sit and watch wildlife roaming in the bush.

There is an open air dining area build with wood on the sides and floor, the roof thatching is done with local 'Makuti'. The restaurant serves a variety of both local and international cuisine. Guests can enjoy their meals in the dining room, in the bush, or even on the traditional Gazebo.
