Day 1: Dar-es-salaam – Speed boat or fly to Zanzibar Island
We can help arrange flights and speed boats in and out of Zanzibar. Upon arrival in Zanzibar airport or harbour, we transfer to Stone Town and begin our tour.

Stone Town has narrow streets, impressive architecture, bustling markets and small but interesting museums.

It includes a visit to former slave market site, now stands as Anglican church built in 1871, town market, visit the Zanzibar Memorial Museum, House of Wonder built in 1883 (Beit-Al-Ajab), old Arab Fort, Palace Museum, Old Indian dispensary (cultural center) to Maruhubi Palace ruins via Livingstone House.

Dinner in Stone Town (extra cost) at Forodhani Gardens, the Old Fort or by the waterfront at the Livingstone Bar and Restaurant.

Day 2: Zanzibar Island – Speed boat or fly to Dar-es-salaam
0800 Hours: We enjoy breakfast at the hotel then depart for the Spice Tour. During the tour you will learn about the spices, herbal values, in cooking food, and for dyeing traditional ceremonial outfits for weddings and festivals.

During the tour you will walk through villages and spice plantations. The spice farms workers will climb up the trees, looking for fruits, leaves and barks for you to feel and taste.

You can buy fresh spices directly from the farms.

1230 Hours: After the tour you will be invited for a traditional Swahili lunch served in a local house.

Later we shall visit the Kidichi Persian Baths built in 1850 by the first Sultan of Zanzibar as a gift for his Persian wife Sheharzad (grand daughter of Fateh Ali Shah of Persia).

After we shall transfer you to the harbor/ airport for your return trip to Dar-es-salaam.

Fishing Lodge Aberdare National Park is located on the misty moorland of the Aberdare Hills in the southern half of the Aberdare National Park and is operated by the Kenya Wildlife Service. Fishing Lodge Guest House is 180 kilometers from Nairobi.

The lodge is on self- catering basis and has 2 units which are about 100 meters apart. Each of the two identical lodges has 3 guestrooms; 2 doubles rooms and a single room and with 2 en-suite bathrooms.The sitting room in each cabin is fitted with a log fire and doors leading to a veranda. There is also an open-plan dining area leading off the sitting room.

There is also a dining table and benches on the veranda. There is a small kitchen with a gas burner and lounge with a great fire place, and a terrace with a wonderful view. There is running water, which is heated by a wood burner (lit by the caretaker) in the early morning and in the evening. There is no electricity but lighting is by paraffin lamps.
