Rhino Campsite Nakuru is situated within the Lake Nakuru National Park, home to about  450 species of birds.The campsite is approximately 160 kilometers from Nairobi.

There is a farm house and a well manicure camping grounds. The farm house has 4 bedrooms, each fitted with 2 queen size beds.

7 Days Uganda Safari Jinja Rafting Kibale Queen Elizabeth Bwindi tour is an adventure through Uganda best national parks, staying different lodges and camps in different areas, each offering a unique style and experience. 

The trip begins in Kampala for the ultimate White Water Rafting in Jinja. There is no better way to fully experience the River Nile and the lives of the Ugandan people who live along its banks than to embark on a day rafting trip.

Our next destination is Kibale National Park with a huge forest with plenty of wildlife and among these includes primates like chimpanzees, black and white Colobus monkeys, Red-tailed and grey cheeked Mangabays.

Kibale Forest National Park is one of the best safari destinations in Africa for chimpanzee tracking.

Game drives in Queen Elizabeth national park enable us to see a variety of mammal including chimpanzees and up to 20 predators (lion, leopard, spotted hyena, etc), antelopes, buffaloes, hippos and elephants.

Included on the tour is visit to Kalinzu Forest located a 45-minute drive from Queen Elizabeth National Park.

The forest is the second best choice for seeing Chimpanzees on a trek after Kibale Forest with a 95% success rate in observing Chimpanzees.

We end the tour with a visit to Bwindi National Park for Gorilla trekking. Other animals seen include  Hoest’s, red-tailed and blue monkey, black and White Colobus, Olive Baboon.

There are around 350 species of birds hosted in this forest. The tour ends by a return trip back to Kampala/ Entebbe.

Day 1: Kampala – Drive to Jinja White Water Rafting and return to Kampala
0530 Hours: Breakfast at your hotel then depart for Jinja. En-route we visit at the Sezibwa Falls and the Mabira Forest for a walk.

0800 Hours: On arrival at in Jinja, you will meet your fellow rafters and guides while enjoying a delicious rafting breakfast.

After an initial briefing, you will fit out with life jackets and helmets before heading off down river to the start point.

Once down at the river’s edge, you will receive a detailed safety briefing, before launching into the river for some practical instruction. You will cover 25 km in about 4 to 5 hours on the river.

At the end of the rafting day we enjoy a delicious barbeque buffet with cold beers and sodas. After lunch you will be transported back to Kampala or Jinja.

Note: Dress: Light clothing, shorts & t-shirt are ideal. Lots of suntan lotion & a cap.

Fitness Level: 16 years minimum. Under 18’s – guardian conditions apply. No rafting or swimming experience necessary, however guests should be water confident and reasonably fit.

Punda Milias Nakuru Campis located in Mbaruk area, right next to the 15,000 acres of the stunning Soysambu Conservancy in Nakuru.

The camp is about 10.1 kilometers from the famous Lake Nakuru National Park and about 145 kilometers from Nairobi.

There is a family tent that sleeps 4 guests, a dormitory tent that sleeps 10 guests, 8 bandas in twin or double and 4 en-suite safari tents.

All the tents feature mosquito nets. There is spacious ground for camping. Guests are welcomed to pitch their own tents.

The bandas are furnished with wood and canvas and natural furniture features and have a private individual veranda for guests to sit and watch the vast Soysambu plains.

Punda Milias Nakuru Camp has an onsite restaurant that offers a variety of continental and local dishes. Guests can enjoy their meals by their swimming pool or the terrace dining area or grounds.
