    Shompole Wilderness Tented Camp is hidden away on the fig tree shaded river banks of the Ewaso Ngiro River within the Shompole conservancy on the bottom of the Great Rift Valley close to the Kenya – Tanzania border.

    The camp is located in the Shompole group ranch, and is collaboration between the local Maasai community and Shompole Wilderness Ltd. Shompole Wilderness Camp  is set in the same location as what was previously known as Loisiijo Lodge.

    It is bordered by Lake Magadi to the east, Lake Natron to the south, the Nguruman Escarpment to the west and Olkiramatian Group Ranch to the north.

    Access by air: Charter flights from Nairobi are about 25 minutes to “Ranger” airstrip, followed by a 25 minute transfer into camp. Access by road: Approximately 4 hour drive from Nairobi (subject to quality of road), through Magadi.

    There are 4 luxury tents overlooking the Ewaso Nyiro River. The tents have fan and furnished verandah and en-suite bathrooms with bucket showers and flush toilets. Each tent has a solar lighting.

    The camp features bush kitchen that serves a variety of local and international cuisine. Guests can enjoy their meals in the spacious shady mess tent on in the outdoors.

    The mess tent and sitting room overlooks the Uaso Nyiro River and are shaded by huge fig trees lining the river banks.

    The style is simple and rustic built with local volcanic stone walls and thatch roofs made by the local Maasai women.

    Wildlife is abundant in this relatively unknown corner of Kenya, with only Rhino missing from the diverse ecosystem. 

    A typical game drive, or walk, could yield plenty of plains game including zebra, wildebeest, Grant’s gazelle, giraffe and cats such as lion, cheetah, or the elusive leopard. Elephants are also available within the area.

    Activities in the Shompole Wilderness Tented Camp include game drives, tubing, village visits, kayaking, walking with the baboons and also walking with cattle.

    Sirikoi House Lewa Wildlife Conservancy Laikipia is a luxury lodge located on private land open to the surrounding Lewa Downs Wildlife Conservancy, Laikipia – Kenya.

    Lewa Sirikoi Lodge is about 5 hours by road from Nairobi. By air you land at Lewa Downs airstrip. The flight takes 50-minutes from Nairobi Wilson airport, which is served by both private charter and scheduled flights. Sirikoi is a 15 minutes drive from Lewa Airstrip.

    Sirikoi House is a 3 en-suite bedrooms with a private living room, dining room, and deck for 6 guests, sold exclusively.

    The Sirikoi House includes three en-suite bedrooms (a Master Suite and separate bedroom cottage with two en-suite bedrooms), which lead on to a central living and dining cottage renowned for its unique positioning and decor.

    Lentorre Lodge Magadi is situated on the foothills of the Nguruman Escarpment in the heart of the Olkirimatian Conservancy in Rift Valley. It is only a 5 hours drive from Nairobi, the Kenyan Capital.

    The boutique Lentorre Lodge is the only lodge in the Olkiramatian-Shompole area. Nearby Camp is Shompole Wilderness Camp which is 23 km's from the Lake Magadi.

    Getting There – Guests can drive in, or fly by charter to two airstrips. The main airstrip is about a 25 to 30 minute game drive to camp, and the Magadi airstrip (which is all weather) is about an hour and a half from camp.

    Comprising of four large villas that hold either a double or twin bed configuration a  family villa and a honeymoon villa, the lodge has a maximum capacity of just 16 guests.

    Each villa is a separate and stand-alone structure with an un-spoilt view of the wilderness looking towards Shompole Mountain.

    Each villa has its own dedicated plunge pool, incredible power shower and luxurious bathtub.

    With no fence, a well visited water hole with adjacent game blind you really do feel close to nature, and can take time out to relax and enjoy the view from your very own plunge pool in your "home away from home".

    The dining area is tastefully fitted with stone floors, natural wood and brass adornment, safari beige furnishings and cushion creams.

    The sundowner are overlooks a waterhole that attracts various species of wildlife. The lodge also features a library.

    Activities in Lentorre Lodge Magadi include day game drives, night game drives, game walks with an armed guide, canoeing along the Ewaso Ngiro River, fishing in the Ewaso Ngiro River, bird watching, walking with baboons predator research and community visits.

    Other things one can do while in the area include supporting a project (local school or a clinic), kids' activities such as experiencing the life of a Maasai child, help fetch water and tend to the cattle, bush breakfasts, lunches and dinners and visits to Lake Magadi and Lake Natron to see the greater and lesser flamingos.

    One can also do star gazing, fly camping and waterhole watching (spending some time watching baboons, impalas, giraffes, zebras, lions, leopards, spotted hyenas, elephants coming for a drink.

    The waterhole also attracts some animals that are seldom seen on safari such as porcupines, aardwolves and striped hyenas.

    Lake Magadi Tented Camp is situated on the shore of Lake Magadi which offers breathtaking scenery at sunset with the shadow of the Ngurumani escarpment.

    The camp is about 120 km from Kenya's capital Nairobi (about a 3 hour drive). There are 15 tents and annex rooms. The tents are self-contained fitted with work desk and air conditioning. 

    The bathrooms are en-suite with flush toilet. The walls and roofs are made of canvas. The annex rooms are situated at the sports club. Each self contained room is spacious and features ceramic tiles, reading table, mosquito net and satellite TV. The bathrooms are en-suite with showers.

    There is also a spacious campsite where guests are welcomed to pitch their own tents. There is an outdoor pool where guests can take a dip in the hot malady days.

    The onsite restaurant serves a variety of dishes both Al-carte and buffet menu. Guests enjoy their meals in the spacious dining area.  There is a well stocked bar that serves a variety of alcoholic and soft drinks.

    In the evening at Lake Magadi Tented Camp a bonfire is lit and cool soft wind blows across this area as visitors enjoy music and dinner as well as drinks. The mining dredges on the lake also form an amazing sight at night with the lighting of the waterlines to the factory. 

    Activities include game viewing and safari drives where one can see giraffes, wildebeests, Somali Ostrich, Beisa Oryx, zebra, long necked gerenuk antelopes. One could also go hiking, guided walks, swimming, bird watching and stargazing. Additional activities include games like chess, scrabble and playing cards.

    Visit cultural Maasai homesteads, Magadi hot springs, hot spring bath. Enjoy swimming at Magadi Sports Club or visit Lake Natron, Shompole Conservancy, the Salt pan and salt factory.​

    Sirikoi Lodge Cottage 2 Bedroom Villa Lewa Downs Conservancy is a luxury bush home located on private land surrounded by the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy in a beautiful area of rolling plains, acacia forests, swamps and rivers.

    Sirikoi Lodge cottage is about 5 hours from Nairobi by road. By air you land at Lewa Downs airstrip. The flight takes 50 minutes from Nairobi Wilson airport, which is served by both private charter and scheduled flights.

    Sirikoi Lodge cottage is a 15 minute drive from Lewa Airstrip. Sirikoi Lodge cottage is ideal for families, is an entirely private option at Sirikoi.

    It has two bedrooms with a large shared sitting and dining area, as well as a private deck. Very popular with couples traveling together or families! Sirikoi Cottage has been designed with families or friends traveling together in mind. 

    It can be taken as a completely private and separate unit, or as an extension of the main lodge. The cottage has two bedrooms, each of which is en suite with bathrooms boasting shower, free-standing bath, WC and double sink.

    Inside the bedrooms, the large bed is flanked by a sitting area and fireplace. A shared central area with small kitchen links the bedrooms, and leads out onto a spacious deck from which to enjoy views of the waterhole and beyond.

    Some of the best game viewing in East Africa takes place at Lewa Wildlife Conservancy.

    During the day, a range of exciting activities make your stay diverse and adventurous: opt for a helicopter flight or lion tracking, horse riding or walking on the conservancy, or visit the local colorful Maasai in their homesteads.

    The day ends with evening sundowners framed by the dramatic backdrop of Mount Kenya, and delicious meals are served under the stars or next to a roaring fire.

    At Sirikoi the spacious living and dining area, infinity swimming pool and veranda deck are set within extensive lawns, scattered acacia trees and overlooking a natural waterhole where wild animals frequently visit to wallow and drink.

    There are 4 en-suite tents with a private deck sold individually. Each luxury tented room has a sitting area leading onto the outside deck, a large double bed or two single beds with a wardrobe behind the bed.

    Inside there is a fireplace lit each evening, and an en-suite bathroom with a free-standing bath and rain shower overlooking more beautiful views.

    Additional facilities include high-speed Wi-Fi, exclusive game drive vehicles, hair dryers, handmade, organic toiletries, laundry, digital safes and international plug sockets.

    With the use of a plane or helicopter there are many places that become accessible from Sirikoi. From camp the activities include bush walks and day and night game drives with skilled and experienced locals to guide you.

    Ol Jogi Ranch House Holiday Home Ol Jogi Conservancy Laikipia is a bush retreat located on a 60,000 acre private wildlife conservancy in Laikipia in Kenya.

    A private charter takes approximately 45 minutes to fly to Ol Jogi whereby the airstrip is a 10 minute drive to Ol Jogi House. The nearest town is Nanyuki. Nearby ranches and conservancies include Borana, Lewa and Ol Lentille.  

    Ol Jogi Ranch House is the only safari property here, and is booked exclusively for groups of between 4 and 25 guests who have this vast wilderness to themselves to explore.

    All of the 13 suites are set in cottages, often two suites per cottage, set on the pretty lawns near the main house.

    Each has luxurious linens, spacious bathrooms with Hermes amenities, safes, mini-bars, hair dryers and Wi-Fi internet.

    The main house is spacious and full of sculptures, paintings and bespoke furniture, and the décor is unique to each room.

    There's a large lounge which opens onto a veranda where breakfasts and lunches are often served, a formal dining room and bar, cinema room with surround sound, library, games room and business centre.

    Dining is overseen by the resident French chef who's lived at Ol Jogi for more than 30 years and many of the vegetables and herbs are grown in the organic gardens here.

    There is a Moroccan style steam room, a fitness centre and there's a resident masseuse to ease away your weary limbs after a day's adventures on the conservancy.

    A tunnel leads from the bar to an underground blind at the edge of the waterhole, offering some incredible up-close wildlife viewing – great for photographers!

    Outside you'll find a large swimming pool with islands, tropical plants and its own waterfall, and nearby a floodlit tennis court.

    The conservancy is home to some impressive wildlife, including the Big Five and numerous endangered species such as African wild dog, Eastern Black Rhinos and Grevy's zebras.

    You'll find endless ways to explore, from more traditional safari activities such as guided walking safaris and game drives etc.

    More adventurous options including horse riding, fishing, walking with a troop of baboons with their researcher, rock climbing or hiking the unique geology of the sandy erosion gully.

    Helicopter flights can easily be arranged to whisk you to the skies for a day trip to Lake Turkana, or simply for an aerial view over the stunning landscapes of the conservancy.

    Elewana Kifaru House Lewa Conservancy is located on an escarpment in the middle of the Lewa / Borana Wildlife Conservancy, home to the healthiest rhino population totaling 66 black and 62 white rhinos.

    The house is about 261 kilometers from Nairobi and it takes about 5 hours drive. There are 6 guestrooms in individual spacious cottages furnished with beautiful colonial style furniture.

    Each banda is tastefully fitted with 4 poster bed, minibar, telephone, wardrobe and sitting area and private verandah. The bathrooms are en-suite generous shower areas.

    The main house features a fully-stocked bar and two large fireplaces. Guests here can enjoy sundowners and dinner under the stars on the large comfortably furnished terrace.

    Elewana Kifaru House Lewa Conservancy has a heated swimming pool that affords breathtaking views across the surrounding plains.

    Massage rooms are also available offering a small but relaxing selection of treatments.

    Solar panels are used to generate electricity and heat water, waste water is recycled to irrigate the landscape including a lovingly tended organic kitchen garden.

    Activities available include day and night game drives, nature walks, bush meals, bird watching, horseback riding, camel riding and village visits.
