Sosian Lodge Sosian Ranch Laikipia Plateau is situated within the 24,000 acres Sosian Private Ranch in the heart of Laikipia Plateau.

The lodge is about 50 kilometers from the equator in the foothills of Mt. Kenya. Nanyuki town is about 80 kilometers from the lodge.

The nearest airstrip include Sosian Private Airstrip, Loisaba Airstrip and Nanyuki Airstrip.

Guests are accommodated in an elegant 1940's ranch house that has been beautifully renovated.

There are 3 are then spread across the tropical gardens offering 7 en suite rooms, plus a family cottage and Italian Cottage, each with their own private verandas.

The 3 cottages, each has 2 double/ twin rooms. Each bedroom has a work desk, private verandah and en-suite bathrooms.

Italian Cottage is a honeymoon cottage set in its own private garden area and was built by Italian artisans post war.

It features a work desk, walk through closet and en-suite bathroom with twin basins, shower and bath.

The Family Cottage can either be a 2 or 3 bedroom unit and can also accommodate a family of up to 7 guests. There is an en-suite double room with an interconnecting twin or triple and an en-suite twin room.

The original main house provides classic elegance with a dining room, sitting room, bar and billiards room. Local and international dishes are prepared using fresh ingredients from the organic vegetable garden.

Guests may enjoy their meals in the dining room, on the riverbank, by the pool, picnic spot, alfresco, on the lodge veranda whilst enjoying the view of the gardens or under the African stars in the bush around a campfire.

Sosian Lodge Sosian Ranch Laikipia Plateau has an outdoor swimming pool with a shaded thatch pool house that has an open bar, comfortable sitting area and fireplace. Guests here relax and unwind.

It takes about 1.5 hours drive from Nanyuki to the villa.This is a 1 bed roomed thatched villa with the Swahili coast of Zanzibar and Lamu decor. 

The villa is built between large rocks and has a soaring tightly-plaited papyrus roof. The exterior of the roof blends perfectly into the house’s rocky outer walls.

Ol Tome Laikipia Camp Laikipia Plateau is nestled on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River within a private conservancy that boasts a diversity of fauna and flora, in Laikipia North district.
