\n\t\tSamburu Game Reserve 2 Days 1 Night Luxury Flying Safari<\/strong> is a luxury flying safari from Nairobi to Samburu Game Reserve. Travel time by air from Nairobi is about 45 minutes. Activities in Samburu include: game viewing, bird watching and Samburu tribal cultural visits. <\/strong> <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/p>\n

\n\t\tSamburu National Reserve roughly 350 km's (217 miles) from Nairobi. The reserve's topography is mainly open savannah (grassland) with clusters of acacia trees, forest, thorn trees and grassland vegetation.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/p>\n

\n\t\tSamburu National Reserve was one of the two areas in which conservationists <\/span><\/span><\/span>George and Joy Adamson<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/span> raised Elsa the Lioness. Their story was made famous by the bestselling book and award-winning movie "Born Free”. <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/p>\n

\n\t\tThe game reserve is renowned for its rare species of animals unique to the park, namely: the long necked gerenuk, Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe and Beisa onyx. <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/p>\n

\n\t\tThe elusive Kenya leopard is often known to visit the park, especially in the evenings. Other Kenyan wildlife present in the park includes cheetahs and lions, as well as elephants, buffalo and hippos.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/p>\n
