\n\tMahindu Cottages Malu Lodge Malu Forest Sanctuary Naivasha <\/strong><\/span>is located in an 1800 acre indigenous forest reserve (Malu Forest Sanctuary), <\/span>with sweeping views over the <\/span>Great Rift Valley<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe cottages are situated within the stunning grounds of Mahindu Farmhouse, beside the Mahindu stream and about 5 min drive from the Malu Lodge. <\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tNaivasha is about 14 kilometers from the cottages.<\/span><\/span> There are 2 cottages which were built in the 1940’s by Italian prisoners of Wars (POWs).  <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tEach cottage has a contemporary feel and features a well furnished living room, dining room, large en-suite double room.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe cottages have well equipped kitchens where guests have the option of preparing their own meals or dine in the onsite restaurant that specializes on Italian style.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tMeals are prepared from home-grown vegetables and herbs. Vegetarians are happily catered for on request. <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tMahindu Cottages Malu Lodge Malu Forest Sanctuary Naivasha has a spring fed plunge pool built into the Mahindu River.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tActivities available are mountain biking, Trout fishing, ridge walks, horse and donkey riding, sundowners, bush breakfasts, night game drives, farm animals feeding, nature walks and bird watching.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tAreas of interest near the cottages include Lake Nakuru National Park, Mt Longonot, Mt Suswa, Lake Naivasha, Crescent Island, Hell's Gate National Park and Kigio Game Reserve.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n
