\n\tDay 1: Nairobi – Samburu Game Reserve<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n\tThis morning we travel by road to Kenya’s northern frontier. Wild and rugged, Samburu is fiercely beautiful with its arid savannahs watered by the lovely Uaso Nyiro River.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIt is also one of Kenya’s most protected areas and home to species only found north of the equator, from the reticulated giraffe to Grevy’s zebras and Beisa Oryxes. <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tDay 2: Samburu Game Reserve<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n\tDawn breaks in golden bands as we start our day in the bush by scanning the river from our tent’s veranda with a cup of steaming coffee in hand. <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tBefore the dew is off the grass, we’re off in pursuit of the elephants, lions, leopards, and cheetahs that thrive in the reserve’s grasslands and acacia woodlands. <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tAnd so the day is spent in alternating pursuits of exploration in the bush and relaxation in our cozy camp.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tDay 3: Samburu – Aberdare National Park (Tree Lodge) or Mt Kenya National Park<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n\tAfter an early breakfast we head South to Serena Mountain Forest Lodge or the Ark Tree Lodge. The Lodge, which comes alive at night with the various sounds of animals, is one of the exotic “Tree Hotels”. <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tAll of the en-suite rooms have balconies from which you can look beyond the trees to observe the endless parade of wildlife. <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tYou can watch these animals from the safety of your room or from a specially built viewing bunker connected to the lodge by a tunnel, which affords you an amazing up-close view of the animals as they visit waterhole's and salt lick.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tDay 4 : Tree Lodge –<\/strong> Lake Nakuru National Park<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n\tToday we travel to the exotic Lake Nakuru National Park located in the Great Rift Valley. After lunch an exciting game run is planned for the afternoon. <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe game in this park is plentiful and the magnificent bird watching will make a devotee out of even the most reluctant. <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Park is a home to stunning flocks of lesser and Greater Flamingos, which literally turn the lakeshores in to a magnificent pink stretch. <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe bird life here is world renown and over 400 bird’s species exist here, White Pelicans, Plovers, Egrets and Marabou Stork.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIt is also one of the very few places in Africa to see the white Rhino and rare Rothschild Giraffe.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThis morning we drive through the dramatic Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara National Reserve.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThis enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest’s migration and is home of the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino. <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tLunch at our Lodge and relax before departing for the afternoon game run. The Mara Game Reserve-one of the greatest wildernesses of the world. Large mammals are varied, and easy to see. <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tResidents among the Park's are: Masai Giraffe, Buffalo, Eland and thousand of plain game including Impala, Zebra, Topi, both Thomson's and grants Gazelles.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tAmboseli is big game country: Lion, Cheetah antelope, Zebra, Wildebeest, buffalo and giraffe. <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tRising early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit, we set off for another stimulating ‘Spice’ game drive. <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tAmboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife, including everything from Wildebeest to Giraffes to Baboons. <\/span><\/span><\/span>Optional visit to a Masai village is planned after breakfast.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tMasai warriors are famously known as the proud nomadic tribe whose legendary prowess in battle and single-handed acts of bravery in fights with the wild animals are known across the world.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tA visit reveals the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tOur next stop is Tsavo National Park. The Park is a vast expansion of African savanna with a more diverse array of habitats which include open plains, semi desert scrub, woodland, Chyulu Hills and rock outcrops. <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIt’s famous for the Red Elephants, Oryx, and Gerenuk among other mammal’s species and bird life. <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tOther notable features include Mzima Springs which are water source for Mombasa Town, Shetani Lava Flow and Ash cones, which is an example of recent volcanic eruption. Movie the Ghost and the Darkness was shot here.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n
