\n\tDay 1: Nairobi – Drive to Samburu Game Reserve<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n\tThis morning we travel by road to Kenya’s northern frontier. Wild and rugged, Samburu is fiercely beautiful with its arid savannahs watered by the lovely Uaso Nyiro River. <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIt is also one of Kenya’s most protected areas and home to species only found north of the equator, from the reticulated giraffe to Grevy’s zebras and Beisa Oryxes. <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tDay 2: Explore Samburu Game Reserve<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n\tDawn breaks in golden bands as we start our day in the bush by scanning the river from our tent’s veranda with a cup of steaming coffee in hand.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tBefore the dew is off the grass, we’re off in pursuit of the elephants, lions, leopards, and cheetahs that thrive in the reserve’s grasslands and acacia woodlands. <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tAnd so the day is spent in alternating pursuits of exploration in the bush and relaxation in our cozy camp.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t\tDay 3: Samburu – Ol Pejeta (Sweetwaters Game Reserve)<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n\t\tToday we travel to the exotic Sweetwaters Tented Camp or Porini Rhino Camp in the secluded heart of Ol Pejeta Ranch and Rhino Reserve. <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/p>\n

\n\t\tHere, these magnificent beasts are given sanctuary from those who would take their lives to sell their horns. <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n\tHere too, the Jane Goodall Institute operates a remarkable Chimpanzee Sanctuary where we meet the primates face to- face. <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tOur camp also overlooks one of the busiest waterholes in the area and offers elephant, giraffe and myriad plains game. <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThis is Africa as Teddy Roosevelt saw it years ago when he led one of the first safaris to tour Africa in comfort and splendor.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tDay 4: Ol Pejeta <\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>– <\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>Lake Naivasha National Park<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n\tAfter breakfast, depart for Lake Naivasha via Nyahururu Falls where you will have a stop over as you take photos for this fall as you take your lunch. <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tLake Naivasha which is one of the fresh water lake in Great Rift Valley and the second largest freshwater lake in Kenya. <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe lake has no known outlet, usually a requirement for a freshwater lake and is home to over 450 species of birds. <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tSpend the afternoon at leisure or have several optional activities such as nature walk, biking, bird walk along the shore of the lake and visit to Crescent Island. <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThere also cultural dance, horse riding, rock climbing, boat trips in the lake excursions to Hell’s Gate National Park, one of the few remaining places where you can walk alongside wildlife.<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n
