\n\tThe Park is a vast expansion of African savanna with a more diverse array of habitats which include open plains, semi desert scrub, woodland, Chyulu Hills and rock outcrops.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIt’s famous for the Red Elephants, Oryx, and Gerenuk among other mammal’s species and bird life. The Movie Ghost and the Darkness was shot here.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tWe arrived at Amboseli by road at lunch time. Our delightful lodge is perfectly located in the very centre of the reserve. After lunch another game drive is planned until sunset.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tSweetwaters land, the Ol Pejeta Conservancy and its sumptuous ranch were once the private domain of famed multi-millionaire, Adnan Kashoggi. <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tWe visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary, a charming haven established by the Jane Goodall Institute to provide sanctuary to orphaned chimps, and the specially protected and fenced refuge of black rhino with its stunning forty specimens! <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIn fact Sweetwaters boasts excellent game viewing with the highest ratio of game to area of any park or reserve in Kenya. <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n
