\n\tLake Manyara Night Game Drive Safari<\/strong> is particularly spectacular, with the moon reflecting off the lake. The night game drive begins from Lake Manyara National Park gate at 1930 hours.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tAlternative if staying in the park ( at Andbeyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge, you start after an early dinner, leave the lodge at about 2000 and explore the park for approximately 3 hours.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tBefore the beginning you will be introduced to your night guides followed by a brief introduction about the 'do's and don'ts' while on a night game drive. <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tYour expert guide will take you through the park’s diverse habitats in search of nocturnal animals and sounds, giving you a completely different perspective of the lake and the Rift Valley Escarpment.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThere is an abundance of elusive animals that are rarely seen in the day, but that are incredibly active at night. Keep your eyes open, and hopefully you will be lucky enough to spot shy genets, lithe civet cats and prickly porcupines.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tPossibly easier to see will be the massive hippos happily foraging under a leafy tree on the road side. Hippos are nocturnal animals (active by night). It is a rare sight to see a hippo out of the water during the day.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tFleeting leopards often wander around the park and, even though it is not a given that you will see one, there are regular sightings of them.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe kings of the jungle, the golden lions, pride themselves on sleeping all day so fortunately, you are sure to see them as they are most mobile at night.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tLater you will return back through the ground water forest and have you back at the park gate around 2230 hours or back to Andbeyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge if staying inside the park. <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n
