\n\tOur 2 Day Kigali Uganda Bwindi Forest Kigali Gorilla Trekking Safari begins from Kigali or the Kigali Airport. The driving time to Rushaga is about 4 to 5 hours depending on Border Crossing.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tYou cross over to Uganda at Katuna or Chanika boarder for a stop at Kabale town (Katuna) or Kisoro (Chanika). Normally the border crossing is about 30 to 45 minutes before proceeding to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The drive from Kigali to Bwindi is one of the most scenic drives in East Africa.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tUpon arrival in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest park, you will check-in to your hotel\/ lodge and relax the rest of the evening before dinner. There are other activities outside of the lodge that can be taken such as a hike, village visits, birding and a visit to the Batwa people.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tDay 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park<\/strong><\/span><\/span> – Transfer to Kigali Rwanda<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n\tAfter breakfast we take our packed lunch head to the park headquarters for briefing about gorilla trekking. Your guide will take you through all the dos and don’ts while with mountain gorillas and after that, you will be transferred to the starting point of your gorilla family. <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tPlease note that gorilla family allocation depends on your interests, fitness and age. Please inform your guide of your interests and he will try to request for the gorilla family of your choice before you start the trek into the forest. <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tGorilla trekking can be strenuous and a certain level of fitness is required.  Gorilla trekking can take from 30 minutes to three quarters of the day so one needs to prepare for both. <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tYou guide will try to provide information about trees, birds and other wildlife in the forest until you reach a given gorilla family of gorillas. You will be allowed only one hour of photography and observing mountain gorillas as they go about with their daily day activities.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n
