\n\tThe Volcanoes National Park is surrounded by five Virunga mountains in the northern part of Rwanda and lies in the Musanze District (former <\/span><\/span><\/span>Ruhengeri<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/span>). The park is located about 105 km from Kigali and the drive takes about 2.30 minutes by road.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tDay 2: Volcanoes National Park – Gorilla Trekking -Twin Lakes visit\/ Community walk<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n\tToday you will set off early after breakfast for the park headquarters where you will register for the gorilla trekking. Once you've been assigned a group and have had a briefing from your guide you will be driven to the trailhead where you will start the walk. <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tTrackers leave before the tourist groups to locate the gorilla groups so your guide should know where to take you, and once you've found the group you will have one hour with them to take photos and observe them as they interact. Return to your lodge for lunch. <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tWhile trekking the trackers assit you to spot other animals animals like the golden monkeys, elephants, buffaloes as well as a variety of different birds.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n
