Our Bush to Beach Kenya Family Safari Holiday 11 Days is an excellent way to get to enjoy the various attractions of this diverse country. While thrilling, a wildlife safari can also be quite an intense and tiring experience, and ending it off with a few days of lounging about on an Indian Ocean island beach in Mombasa is a fabulous idea.

Day 1

Nairobi arrival

Arriving at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport Nairobi, a 'Spice' Tour Leader will greet you and whisk you to your hotel. No waiting, your room accommodations will be made in advance at The Intercontinental hotel, The Norfolk or The Nairobi Serena Hotel where you can relax the night away.

Days 2, 3 & 4

Nairobi – Lewa Down
The morning flight to Lewa Downs brings you to a scenic semi-arid game sanctuary where the opportunity to walk and take game drives with highly experienced guides will introduce you to the nature of Africa. Situated in the Northwest of the Conservancy, the safari Camp offers all the comforts of home. Steamy hot showers, flush toilets, warm comfy beds at the end of a long day's game viewing. There are over 61 mammals which include * The Big Five, Black Rhino & White Rhino and Sitatunga: One of Kenya's last remaining habitats, Grevy Zebra: 25% of the worlds remaining population & Greater Kudu. And for the bird lover's, there are 440 species of bird that have been recorded here.

Days 5, 6 & 7

Lewa – Maasai Mara National Reserve
The flight into the Maasai Mara is along the Rift Valley, past volcanoes and lakes. With its rolling grasslands and wide-open savannahs, the Maasai Mara is the kind of unfettered, sprawling wilderness you thought only existed on Hollywood film sets. But it's real. And of course at certain times of the year the famous Maasai Mara rumbles to the beat of hundreds of thousands of hooves as the Great Wildebeest Migration rolls in Between July and October unimaginable numbers of wildebeest, zebra and gazelles flood into the Maasai Mara from the Serengeti where they gather to graze and relax on the Mara's plains.

Days 8, 9 & 10
Masai Mara – Fly to the Kenya Coast Mombasa
Fly directly to Mombasa from Maasai Mara and spend 3 night stay at the Mombasa Serena Beach Hotel Relax by the Indian Ocean or partake several of the activities which include:
• Day excursions to the Shimba Hills National Park, Mombasa Old Town and Fort Jesus, the Arabuko Sokoke forest, the Kipepeo Butterfly Farm or the haunted ruins of ancient Gedi town
• World-renowned dive venues supported by training & supervision to all levels of International Dive Certification
• Nightly entertainment : live bands, discos, traditional dancing, acrobatic & gymnastic displays, magicians
• There’s also just lazing by the pool, taking in some sun and looking out over the Indian Ocean

• Water sports : windsurfing, deep-sea fishing, catamaran sailing, introductory scuba diving lessons & snorkeling

• Visits to the nearby Ngomongo Cultural village, the Bamburi Nature Trail, or the Crocodile Farm

Mombasa – Nairobi

You will be transferred to the airport in time for your scheduled flight to Nairobi where your onward connection will end your safari in Kenya.
