Tanzania Optional Safari Activities (Add-ons while on Safari)

Tanzania Safari activities View Rates, Discounted Prices - Book & Save Now!

On this page we offer some exciting Tanzania Safari activities that can be incorporated into your safari while others - usually lasting a day or longer.

This tours/ trips can be added on at the beginning or end (or occasionally in the middle) of your safari. Many of you request some walking or hiking, and while we believe this is one of the best ways to explore the wild places in Africa, there are certain restrictions.

In some parks in Tanzania, walking is not allowed, while in other areas, the costs are high. So while we include short optional walks (from one to four hours) as an integral part of our safari at some destinations, at others we suggest them to you here as an extra activity or as longer add-ons at the beginning or end, or even in the middle of your safari.

Please note, also, that hiking is an important part or your only means of transport in some national parks, Selous, Gombe, Mahale, Katavi, Rubondo Island and above all Mt Kilimanjaro. Please note that prices of these activities are per person.
