Al Hamra House Watamu has three en suite bedrooms that are all beautifully designed. The two pool suites on the ground floor have their own roof top terraces while the honeymoon suite on the second floor is very private and has its own extensive living area.

The house can accommodate a maximum of 10 people (6 adults and 4 children).

A Typical day at Al Hamra House Watamu

Awake to the cool whirring of the fan above your head and wander through the double doors for a dip in the pool. Once you have cooled off and are refreshed head up to the dining room for a delicious breakfast of fresh fruits, eggs and bacon.

Spend the morning lying by the pool getting immersed in your favorite book and topping up your tan under the African sun. At lunch time sit down to another mouth-watering meal of fresh seafood cooked in the herbs and spices found along the Kenyan coast. As the heat of the afternoon sets in, retire to the roof top terrace for an afternoon snooze.

Once the sun has started to slide down beyond the sea beyond, enjoy one of the many activities that Watamu offers. At about 5, jump into a dhow and sail up the Mida Creek on a sundowner cruise. Once the darkness has enveloped the sea and the land around you head back home for another delicious meal straight from the ocean.

Then fall into your huge double bed and let the sound of the waves lapping against the shore lull you into a sweet dreamless sleep.
