is located along the North Lake Road, Naivasha, which
takes about 2 hours from Nairobi.
Karuru
Tuu House is a modern two storey ten bedroom eco lodge
built on the shores of the fresh water lake Naivasha.
It has well manicured lawns and fresh gardens where
guests enjoy the chirping of the various bird species
in the area especially the fish eagle.
There
are 5 light and airy en-suite bedrooms, which can be
made up as twins or doubles with individual showers
or baths. The bedrooms are spacious and all with views
of the Lake. Each room has fitted mosquito nets, well
thought out reading lights and plenty of storage space.
Plenty
of bedding options are available to suit the changing
seasons and cool Naivasha nights. It is suitable for
a family or group of 10 people.
Karuru
Tuu House is usually taken on a self catering basis,
however you may prefer to have your visit hosted and
all the food and meals laid on for you. It has an upstairs
living room with French doors which open on to a deck
overlooking the garden and lake.
From
the ground floor entrance hall there is a formal dining
room, the kitchen and a family study with DSTV satellite
television. The front hall leads to the outdoor verandah.
The kitchen is fully equipped – including lots
of fridge and freezer space. There is an experienced
cook, who enjoys cooking for different nationalities
and in varying styles.
