a honeymoon Special Safari for you. An African 'Spice'
bespoke honeymoon means you will be well looked
after — but have plenty of time to yourselves.
This luxury safari takes in the highlights of Tanzania,
from the endless plains of the Serengeti to the
magnificent views of the Ngorongoro Crater and the
untouched white beaches of the Indian Ocean. Discover
the abundant resident wildlife of the Serengeti
or experience the massed game of the annual Great
Migration, with its thundering hordes of zebra and
wildebeest. Marvel at the breathtaking beauty of
the world’s largest intact caldera at the
Ngorongoro Crater and experience the incredible
density of animals on the Crater floor. To end off
your safari, relax in a barefoot paradise on intimate
Mnemba Island in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean.

Arusha, Tanzania Arrival
Upon
your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport
you will be welcomed by a member of the 'Spice' team,
who will drive you to the Arusha Coffee Lodge. You
will spend one night in a chalet. Your stay is on
a bed and breakfast basis.

Serengeti
National Park
After
breakfast you will be chauffeured to Arusha Airport
to board a flight to Klein’s or Grumeti Airstrip.
From the airstrip, it is only a 10-minute drive to
the camp of your choice. Enjoy three nights in a flamboyant
tent at Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp. Your stay includes
Two daily game drives – explore the endless
plains of the Serengeti on early morning and late
afternoon / evening game drives in an open 4x4 safari
vehicle.
The
Serengeti National Park forms part of a huge conservation
area, encompassing the adjacent Ngorongoro Conservation
Area, well as the Masai Mara in neighboring Kenya.
With no fences or man-made barriers, huge numbers
of wildlife move freely throughout this area, constantly
recreating an ageless natural cycle. The magnificent
Serengeti is famed for its vast tree-less grasslands
allowing for excellent wildlife sightings. The Park
boasts 35 species of plains-dwelling game and prolific
bird life.
Grumeti
Serengeti Tented Camp is set in the remote reaches
of the Park, on the by waters of the Grumeti River,
known for its wildebeest crossings and enormous Nile
crocodiles. Tucked into a strip of riverine forest,
guests thrill to the antics of spectacular pied colobus
monkeys (found nowhere else in the Serengeti) and
enjoy nocturnal serenades by orchestras of owls and
bush babies. Every year between June and July, Africa’s
annual Great Migration passes through Grumeti, and
hundreds upon thousands of wildebeest, zebra and other
herbivores cross the Grumeti River, risking the jaws
of some of Africa’s largest crocodiles.

Ngorongoro Crater
Enjoy an early morning
game drive and breakfast before your flight to Manyara
Airstrip. A vehicle from Ngorongoro Crater Lodge will
be waiting to take you on a game drive to the Lodge.
For the next two nights you will stay in a whimsical
suite on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. Your stay
includes one daily game drive on the Crater floor.

Mnemba Island
Enjoy an early morning
breakfast before being driven to Manyara Airstrip
for your flight to Arusha Airport. From Arusha Airport,
you catch another flight to Zanzibar Airport, where
you will be met by a member of the 'Spice' team, who
will drive you through the island of Zanzibar for
a boat ride to Mnemba Island. Revel in four nights
at Mnemba Island Lodge in a luxurious beach banda.
Your stay includes two scuba dives per day, snorkeling,
kayaking, salt-water fly —fishing and windsurfing.
