                          After
breakfast on day 5 you will depart by road to the
Serengeti plains with a stop at Olduvai Gorge. The
Serengeti is arguably the most impressive wildlife
sanctuary in the world. At certain times of the year
these vast, seemingly unending, plains are inhabited
by enormous herds of wildebeest and zebra. In the
calving season (February-March) the herds concentrate
at the Ndutu and Salei plains attracting the attention
of predators like lion, cheetah and hyena. You will
spend three nights at Grumeti River Tented Camp (depending
upon the time of year other lodges or camps may be
suggested) - a small luxury camp situated in a remote
valley in the western corridor of the Serengeti, overlooking
a tributary of the Grumeti River. The camp has 10
private walk in tents with en suite facilities. Activities
include game drives in the Serengeti. There is also
                            a pool.
