3 Days 2 Nights Bagamoyo Town Cultural Tour Tanzania is a short cultural holiday from Dar es salaam to Bagamoyo Swahili Historical town.
Bagamoyo town is found 70 kilometers north of Dar es salaam City. It is one and a half hour drive from Dar es Salaam International Airport or the Dar es Salaam City center.
Today, Bagamoyo Town is considered Tanzania’s Seventh World Heritage Site and the oldest town in Tanzania. Bagamoyo's history has been influenced by Arab and Indian traders, the German colonial government and Christian missionaries.
Although Bagamoyo is no longer the busy port city that it once was, Tanzania’s Department of Antiquities is working to revitalize the town and maintain the dozens of ruins in and around Bagamoyo.
Bagamoyo was the major slave trading post in East Africa. Bagamoyo, which means ‘lay down your heart’ in Swahili, was probably given this name because Bagamoyo was the last place the slaves would stay in Tanzania before being shipped off to foreign lands.
Although the slave trade officially ended in 1873, slaves continued to be sold and traded in Bagamoyo through the end of the nineteenth century.
During the slave trade, it was not uncommon to see hundreds of slaves walking through the streets of Bagamoyo chained together by the neck.
Slaves were collected from the interior by capture, purchase or trade and then shipped to Zanzibar or Arab countries.
Bagamoyo town offers tours to historical sites, heritage and cultural sites, museums, marine and boat safaris.
The Kaole Ruins are located 5 kilometers south of Bagamoyo town. The ruins are considered to be the first arab settlements left by Arabs and Shirazi Settlers.
This is a place where the first immigrants from the Persian gulf and others from the Somali land met with the indigenous people of the coast who were Swahilis who existed and occupied the Tanzanian coast between 6th – 7th centuries.
(Chami. Felix, 2002 the archaeological research of the Kaole ruins).

Manyara Ranch Conservancy Tanzania Safari 3 Days Tour from Arusha is a short 2 nights luxury wildlife safari to Manyara Ranch Conservancy – a 35000-acre wilderness between Tarangire and Manyara parks in Tanzania.
Originally established as a cattle ranch during Tanzania's colonial period, Manyara Ranch is now a 45,000-acre conservancy located in a critical wildlife corridor connecting Lake Manyara and Tarangire National Parks.
Located in Makuyuni District in Manyara Region, Manyara Ranch occupies much of the space between Tarangire and Manyara National Parks. The drive from Arusha takes only 1 Hour 30 Minutes.
Tarangire’s Northern boundary lies less than 5 kilometers away, while Manyara Park is across the lake to the West and is accessed via Mto wa Mbu.
During our Manyara Ranch Conservancy Tanzania Safari 3 Days Tour, visitors can expect to see a wide range of wild animals. Apart from mammals, around 350 species of birds have so far been identified.
The beauty of the Conservancy is that here you can approach birds and animals on foot to get a better look and of course – other visitors are unlikely to disturb you.

2 Nights 3 Days Mount Meru Climb Tanzania | Mount Meru Climbing 2 Nights 3 Days | Mt Meru trek Tanzania |
|
|
Mount Meru Tanzania Climbing Trek 3 Days 2 Nights Tour is the best for acclimatization prior to Mount Kilimanjaro climbing. The Mountain is the third highest peak in Africa and is the second highest mountain in Tanzania at 4,568 metres.
Mount Meru is a great preparation hike for climbing Kilimanjaro, or a spectacular trek for those not compelled to do Kilimanjaro. You will hike past wildlife, the landscape is spectacular, and sunrise on the summit has Kilimanjaro as the backdrop.
While it can be done in only 4 days, it is not an easy peak to summit. To reach the top (almost 15,000 feet), there is some scrambling on rocks in the dark and at high altitude.
You should be prepared for at least 10 hours of hiking on summit day. For an easier hike, you can climb just to Rhino Point for sunrise overlooking Kilimanjaro, and then descend.
Mt. Meru is in Arusha National Park. In Arusha National Park all hikers must be accompanied by an armed ranger. This ranger is employed directly by the national park. You will also have your own mountain guide, who is managing the crew and watching out for your safety.
The park ranger has the authority to make decisions such as trail choices, pace, etc. Arusha National Park may combine groups of people to hike with one park ranger, therefore, we cannot guarantee a completely private Meru trek.
Arusha National Park requires the hire of porters specific to Arusha National Park, who will be assigned once you arrive at the trail registration.

Mount Meru Tanzania Climbing Trek 3 Days 2 Nights Tour Itinerary |
Day 1: Arusha/ Moshi – Drive to Momela Gate, Hike to Miriakamba Hut
(Momela Gate to Miriakamba Hut (2500 meters): 5 Hours to 7 Hours walking)
Starting from Momela Gate, the track passes through open grassland with cape buffalo and warthogs. With luck, you may also see giraffe, zebras, monkeys, antelope and elephants along the route.
Continue a steady climb through montane forest. You can have your lunch at the famous "Fig tree". After lunch, the trek continues through less dense forest, where there are lots of birds and monkeys including the black and white colobus.
By mid-afternoon, you will have your first close views of the towering cliffs and the Ash Cone.
Miriakamba Hut, situated in idyllic grassy glade, is reached in time to enjoy the afternoon sun and beautiful views over the surrounding plains towards Kilimanjaro.
Accommodation Option: Miriakampa Hut
Meal Plan {Lunch & Dinner}
Day 2: Hike Miriakamba Hut to Saddle Hut, afternoon Hike up Little Meru
Miriakamba Hut to Saddle Hut (3500 Metres): 3 Hours to 5 Hours walking)
The walk from Miriakamba Hut to the saddle below Little Meru is a steep sustained climb all the way.
Starting through beautiful and lush montane forest, the path continues beyond the halfway point of Elephant Back Ridge and carries on uphill through the giant heather and other moorland vegetation to reach Saddle Hut for lunch.
In the afternoon, you can make the short climb to the nearby summit of Little Meru (3,820 Metre/ 12,533 Feet) for superb views. It takes about 1 hour to walk up and 30 minutes to walk down. The ascent is 1,056 meters/ 3,465 Feet.
Accommodation Option: Saddle Hut
Meal Plan: {Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner}
Day 3: Hike to Summit then Down to Trail Head, Return to Moshi/ Arusha
(Saddle Hut to the summit to Momella Gate: 12 Hours to 14 Hours walking)
Summit day has an early start at around 1200AM. There is a 1 hour steep climb to Rhino Point (3,800 Metres/ 12,467 Feet), and then the path continues along a ridge of ash and rock to reach Cobra Point (4,350 Metres/ 14,272 Feet).
The summit of Socialist Peak (4,566 Metres) is an hour further on a steep path with magnificent views of Kilimanjaro. Depending on your speed, you can enjoy sunrise at Cobra Point or the summit.
The views are stunning: the cliffs of the Crater rim, the Ash Cone rising from the crater floor, Kilimanjaro floating on the morning clouds, and the Rift Valley.
The route back to Rhino Point in the sharp morning light along a narrow ridge between the sloping outer wall of the crater and the sheer cliffs of the inner wall is one of the most dramatic and exhilarating walks in Africa.
Brunch and a brief rest is taken at Saddle Hut before continuing the descent to Miriakamba Hut.

3 Days Arusha National Park Manyara Ngorongoro Safari is a short Tanzania wildlife safari experience to 3 popular parks namely: Arusha National Park, Lake Manyara National Park and the famous Ngorongoro Crater.
Our 3 Day Arusha National Park Lake Manyara Ngorongoro Tour begins with a visit to Arusha National Park. This national park lies about an hour’s drive (45 kilometers) east of Arusha town.
Arusha National Park is home to Mt Meru standing at 4565 meters, Ngurdoto Crater and the Momella Lakes.
Despite its relatively small size, this park has a lot to offer such as Colobus monkeys, flamingos, elephants, giraffes, buffalos, plus a variety of bird and plant species.
Arusha National Park offers walking safari, climbing Mount Meru, game drives to Ngurdoto Crater and the Momella lakes. At dawn or late afternoon one can see Mt. Kilimanjaro quite clearly.
Our next stop is a visit to Lake Manyara National Park located about 2 hours away from Arusha.
We enjoy 4 to 5 Hours of game viewing looking for Manyara’s famous tree-climbing lions, elephants, baboon troops, blue monkeys, large herds of buffalo, wildebeest, zebra and giraffe.
The celebrated hippo pool is not only inhabited by hippos, but also attracts water birds such as herons, storks, kingfishers and the iconic fish eagle.
Our grand finale is the Ngorongoro Crater. The crater offers a classic Big 5 safari experience in the unique setting of an ancient volcanic caldera.
Home to some 30 000 animals, the crater's surprisingly diverse habitats are revealed on an Ngorongoro safari on all-day guided game drives; the scenery is spectacular, predators are abundant and it's not unusual to see the Big 5 in a single day.
