    The Samburu National Reserve is located on the banks of the Ewaso Ng’iro river, on the other side of the river is the Buffalo Springs National Reserve in Northern Kenya.

    Day 1: Nairobi – Fly to Samburu National Reserve
    In the morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight to Samburu National Reserve.

    You will pass over lush farmlands and catch glimpses of the glaciered slopes of Mt. Kenya before dropping down to the arid country of the North and the Samburu Game Reserve.

    On arrival to be met at the airstrip and transferred to the lodge with game drive en route.

    Day 2: Discover Samburu National Reserve
    Dawn breaks in golden bands as we start our day in the bush by scanning the river from our tent’s veranda with a cup of steaming coffee in hand.

    Before the dew is off the grass, we’re off in pursuit of the elephants, lions, leopards, and cheetahs that thrive in the reserve’s grasslands and acacia woodlands.

    And so the day is spent in alternating pursuits of exploration in the bush and relaxation in our cozy camp.

    Day 3: Samburu National Reserve – Fly to Masai Mara National Reserve

    The private Ol Pejeta Conservancy is in Laikipia, near Mount Kenya and is the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa.

    In the morning, you will be picked at your hotel/residence and transferred to Wilson Airport where you will board scheduled flight to Ol Pejeta Conservancy.

    Activities are wide-ranging and include visiting the anti-poaching dog section; visiting the Northern White enclosure; behind the scenes visits to the chimpanzees; bush walks with the rhino patrol, lion tracking and assisting with the monitoring programme, ranch visits to see how the reserve manages their cattle and community visits.

    Today we travel to the exotic Sweetwaters Game Sanctuary in the secluded heart of Ol Pejeta Ranch and Rhino Reserve.

    Here, these magnificent beasts are given sanctuary from those who would take their lives to sell their horns.

    Here too, the Jane Goodall Institute operates a remarkable Chimpanzee Sanctuary where we meet the primates face to- face. It is the only place in Kenya where you can see the Chimpanzees in the wild.

     In fact Sweetwaters boasts excellent game viewing with the highest ratio of game to area of any park or reserve in Kenya. It is also a Rhino sanctuary and was set up in 1989 and covered an area of 24,000 acres.

    It is perhaps the only region left in Kenya where the visitor may see animals in the same super-abundance as existed a century ago.

    The well-appointed Fairmont Mara Safari Club is set in the Ol Choro Oiroua Conservation Area at the foot of the Aitong Hills.

    Day 1: Nairobi – Fly to Lewa Downs

    In the morning, you will be picked at your hotel/residence and transferred to Wilson Airport where you will board scheduled flight to Ol Pejeta Conservancy.

    Day 1: Nairobi – Fly to Samburu National Reserve
    In the morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight to Samburu National Reserve.

    You will pass over lush farmlands and catch glimpses of the glaciered slopes of Mt. Kenya before dropping down to the arid country of the North and the Samburu Game Reserve.

    On arrival to be met at the airstrip and transferred to the lodge with game drive en route.

    Day 2: Discover Samburu National Reserve
    Dawn breaks in golden bands as we start our day in the bush by scanning the river from our tent’s veranda with a cup of steaming coffee in hand.

    Before the dew is off the grass, we’re off in pursuit of the elephants, lions, leopards, and cheetahs that thrive in the reserve’s grasslands and acacia woodlands.

    And so the day is spent in alternating pursuits of exploration in the bush and relaxation in our cozy camp.

    Amboseli is sought after by travelers in the know for its breathtaking scenery and easily approachable wildlife. There is also a host of Kenya birds, both large and small, to see if you keep your eyes open and stop at every sighting.

    Day 2, 3 & 4: Explore Maasai Mara National Reserve
    The fertile Mara plains support a huge amount of plain games and their predators abound – a wildlife spectacle unrivalled anywhere else in the world.

    It's a home to the big five – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard as well as cheetah, zebra, giraffe, and vast herds of games.

    The search for great predators and perhaps even cubs continues today, tomorrow and the after during extensive game runs. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia boughs.

    During our stay we also have an optional opportunity to visit a village of the Masai people to witness the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals.

    A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience.
