Day 1: Kampala – Sezibwa Falls – Mabira Forest – Boat to Samuka Island
0700 Hours: After breakfast at your hotel in Kampala our tour departs by road (about 80 km) traveling through the Eastern part of Uganda past Mukono town to Jinja.

Along the way we make a brief stop at the Sezibwa Falls – a Buganda Cultural Heritage Site that is located near Lugazi town.  A fantastic oasis for nature lovers, the falls  are about 7 meters high. 

Visitors to the Sezibwa Falls are rewarded with refreshing views of the waterfalls stumbling over the rocks with a gush, a lush green environment, an impressive birdlife & wildlife, beautiful rocks, and a serene, peaceful and cool atmosphere.

Enjoy a short nature walk, spot birds and all sorts of animals, most notably the bush and red-tailed monkeys.

The forest is home to a remarkable diversity of flora and fauna.we proceed to Mabira eco tourism site.After an hour’s tour at the Sezibwa Falls,

There are over 312 species of trees and shrubs, 316 bird species, 219 butterflies, 97 moths, and 35 species of mammals including primates such as Red-tailed Monkeys and Grey-cheeked Mangabeys.

We will set out on 2 hour hike into the forest, walking on neat trails that provide good views into the forest undergrowth as well as canopy.

After the fulfilling Mabira forest tour we will be back on the road driving to Jinja. We arrive in Jinja town by noon and have a lunch break along the banks of the Nile.

1300 Hours: After lunch we board a speed boat departing to the Samuka Island for the ultimate experience. Rumours is the departure point for those visiting Samuka Island.

Day 2: Samuka Island – Depart for Jinja and on to Kampala
0800 Hours: After breakfast, relax and enjoy one or some of the many activities available at the resort. 

These include nature walks, bird watching, boat rides, enjoy watching the sunrise and sunset, swimming, sunset cruises, fishing (the resort is on a bird Sanctuary with over 50 species of birds).

You can also relax and enjoy the beautiful sounds of nature, watch the amazing width of the lake and have quality private time.

There property has a big compound for the children to run around playing.

1300 Hours: We enjoy sumptuous lunch at the Samuka Island Retreat

1600 Hours: Later in the afternoon we shall take the boat back to Jinja return and onto Kampala.

0700 Hours: After an early breakfast in Kampala or Jinja, our driver guide will pick you up from your hotel/ residence and begin your day trip to  Samuka Island. The island  is located approximately 45 minutes by speed boat from the source of the Nile.

Our trip includes a tour of the source of the nile and the speke monument and thereafter we proceed by boat to samuka.

En-route we enjoy amazing sights of the hotels found on the shoreline like Hotel Triangle, we also take good views of the Jinja sailing club, and the Kirinya maximum prison.

At the samuka island, we shall get to enjoy the birdlife, swimming in the beautiful pool, outdoor games like volleyball and football.

Day 1: Nairobi – Fly to Amboseli National Park
In the morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to Wilson Airport for a scheduled flight to the Amboseli National Park. On arrival to be met at the airstrip and transferred to the lodge with game drive en route.

After lunch game drive until sunset in the expansive Amboseli plains which are home to herds of elephants that feed on the large acacia trees.

Day 2: Amboseli National Park – Fly to Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast you will be transferred to the airstrip for the scheduled flight to Wilson where you will connect with the scheduled flight to the Masai Mara.

On arrival at the airstrip, you are met and transferred to the lodge with game viewing en route.  After lunch go on a game drive in the rolling grassy hills until sunset in search of African wildlife.

You will encounter elephants, lion, cheetah, buffalo, giraffe, African birds, hippo, crocodile, vultures, African birds of prey, wildebeest, Hyena.

Day 3: Explore Masai Mara National Reserve
Today we will be spending in the vast eco-system of the Mara searching for the big five and much more.

You also have an optional balloon safari- Many call it a once in a life time experience, once you are up, you won’t want to come down, and once you land, champagne breakfast awaits you.

Game viewing is great from the air with the opportunity for beautiful pictures. The annual wildebeest migration is expected in the Masai Mara between July and early November.

Millions of animals migrate to the Mara from Serengeti in search for fresh green pastures and water.

It’s worth noting that every game drive is different from the other, and missing one is missing out on the fun.

Day 2: Old Town & Spice Plantations
The day begins with breakfast and a serene view over the Indian Ocean to the endless horizon.

A walking tour is the best way to experience the town, which exists today much as it did in the days when the “Isle of Spices” was a great trading centre known the world over for spices, timber and slaves.

The market place is alive with vendors who hawk their exotic wares in a multitude of languages, as many as the intense palette of colors in their fabrics and trinkets for sale.

As we move away from the raucous market, the winding streets grow serene and mysterious with whitewashed houses, ornately carved wooden doors and balconies studded with brass.

We visit the Zanzibar Museum and Old Fort. Lunch is slow and relaxed, followed by an afternoon spent visiting the plantations where cinnamon, cardamom and strong Arabic coffees are grown.

And, of course, we see the cloves—the gold of Zanzibar— the world’s finest and most desired spice.

Day 3: Jozani Forest
There are few places in the world where the red Colobus monkey can be found, and this morning we travel across the island through quaint villages and lush vegetation to just such a place—the enchanting Jozani Forest.

These Old World monkeys leap acrobatically throughout the arboreal canopy in troops of up to one hundred. With extinction a distinct possibility, they are a privilege to behold.

It takes two-hour flight to Manda Island followed by a boat ride to Lamu Island. Lamu town on Lamu Island is best reached by air either directly from Nairobi, Mombasa or Malindi.
