    Day 1: Nairobi – Fly Masai Mara
    0845 Hours : You will be picked from your Hotel and transferred to the Wilson Airport. Flight to Masai Mara takes off at 1000 Hours.

    1045 Hours : Arrival at Masai Mara airstrip. You are met at the airstrip and transferred to David Livingstone Safari Resort. You have an early afternoon free, before proceeding for an afternoon game drive, from 1600 Hours till dusk.

    Day 2: Masai Mara Game Reserve
    At 0630 Hours you proceed on an early morning game drive in 4×4 Safari land cruiser. Return to the camp for breakfast.

    Mid -morning game drive for those who wish starts at 1000 Hours till midday. Lunch at the camp. Early afternoon at leisure for relaxation. 1630 Hours – Afternoon game drive till dusk.

    Day 3: Masai Mara – Fly Nairobi
    If you book a Hot air balloon (at extra cost 470 US Dollars per person), you will be picked up early for the drive to the balloon launching site.

    Drift for 1 hour 15 minutes across the Masai Mara Plains. After the balloon flight, champagne breakfast follows.

    Otherwise non- ballooners will enjoy an early morning game drive which will be followed by breakfast.

    This morning you relax at the camp. After lunch transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Nairobi departing at 1600 Hours. You arrive at Wilson Airport Nairobi 1715 Hours.

    Here you will be met by an African Spice Safaris representative. Depending on your itinerary we will transfer you to a Nairobi Airport Hotel or to Jomo Kenyatta International airport for your homebound flight.

    Cottar's 1920's Safari Camp accommodates up to 10 adults and 5 children in authentic white canvas tents, which are spacious and luxuriously furnished and incorporate original safari antiques from the '20's.

    There are private en suite dressing rooms and bathrooms (with old-fashioned showers and flushing toilets), a main bedroom and an outdoor veranda.

    Also available are 4 family tents holding five guests per tent. From the chairs at the front of your tent you can enjoy the fine views across the plains.

    The camp is run with a good sense of style and the standard of food and service is excellent.

    Cottar's 1920's Safari Camp Activities
    Guest activities include game drives guided by Calvin Cottar or guides of equal professional standard in either state of the art modern four wheel drive cars, in our authentic, old wooden car or in our oxen pulled wagon.

    Alternatively, a tented reading room with an extensive array of African and contemporary books and magazines will allow those who wish to while away an afternoon to rest and view the most splendid panorama.

    Walking and bird-shooting safaris are also available at the camp on request. As the concession area is outside the game parks, guided walks and night drives are allowed and highly recommended.

    By walking, guests can get that much closer to nature, and if an opportunity to track wild game presents itself, trained trackers will take guests even closer still.

    Guests can enjoy bush meals, sundowners, cultural visits, river swimming and fishing, canvas bush baths and balloon safaris(at an extra cost)

    Day 1: Nairobi  – Fly to Masai Mara Game Reserve
    Guests will be picked early from Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, city hotel or residence and transferred to Wilson Airport for a scheduled flight to Masai Mara.

    1000 Hours: The flight departs Nairobi.

    1100 Hours: Upon arrival at the Kichwa Tembo Airstrip, guests will be met and transferred to the camp. Following lunch, there will be an afternoon game drive returning to camp as the sun sets. If guests arrive in the afternoon, they will be transferred to the camp.

    Day 2: Explore the Masai Mara National Reserve
    Bush adventures include dawn and dusk game drives in open Land Rovers. You can also get a truly different perspective of the Mara by exploring it on foot.

    A bush walk with a Masai guide and ranger is a rare opportunity to examine finer details and learn about nature in a truly personalized way. Andbeyond Kichwa Tembo Camp also offers bird walks for enthusiasts.

    Meals are an experience and really something to look forward to! Mouth watering dishes are served at the camp in various settings.     Upon arrival, guests will be met and transferred to a Nairobi hotel where the safari ends. For those guests who arrive after lunch on Day 1, there will be morning activities on the last day before returning to Nairobi late afternoon.

    You have good chances of seeing lions and other big cats such as leopards and cheetahs in the Seronera Valley. During the migration season you will see hundreds of wildebeests and zebras.

    Day 3: Serengeti National Park – Drive to Zanzibar/ Dar-es-salaam
    0400 Hours: Early morning wake-up with light breakfast.

    0430 Hours: Pick up by Balloon Safari and transfer to the Balloon Safari launch site.

    0630 Hours: Take in the breathtaking views of the Serengeti in a magical hot air balloon safari experience. Non-ballooners enjoy an early morning game drive in the park. Later return back to the lodge/ camp for breakfast.

    Serengeti Visitor Center: The Serengeti Visitor Centre is worth a stop for its self-guided walking path that provides informative signs and exhibits about the history of the Serengeti, its ecosystem, and its wildlife.

    The Serengeti's Great Migration: Throughout the year huge herds of wildebeest and zebra move in a clockwise direction around the vast plains, searching for fresh grazing grounds.

    Serengeti daytime game drives:  The main attraction here is the wildlife. Serengeti National Park houses a huge population of large mammals, including giraffes, baboons, elephants, hippos, and, of course, lions.

    When you tire of gazing at grazers, head to Moru Kopjes to mingle with rhinos or to the Retina Hippo Pool to watch these massive mammals splash about.

    3 Days 2 Nights Mara Intrepids Tented Camp Flying Safari is a holiday to the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Your accommodations are at the Mara Intrepids Camp which occupies a privileged spot of the Mara ecosystem.

    Mara Intrepids Camp is situated on a wide bend of the Talek river, under the shades of native trees in the centre of the Masai Mara Game Reserve.

    Mara Intrepids Camp luxurious 30 tents spread over a large campsite, and are arranged in groups of twos, threes and fours for better serving small, medium and large-sized groups.

    The tents are spacious, furnished with reproduction furniture and big beds, and complete with cozy en suite bathrooms with hot showers.

    Breakfast is served here, quite early in the morning, before the first game drive of the day. Designed as a fly-in camp, the Intrepids features its own paved air-strip, and can be reached with a 45-minute flight from Nairobi.

    Mara Intrepids Camp offers three daily safari drives under the guidance of expert naturalists, as well as short visits to Manyatta's, Masai villages.
