9 Days Kenya Lewa Samburu Masai Mara Luxury Flying Safari combines the dry and savagely beautiful bush country of Lewa Downs and Samburu National Reserve in northern Kenya with the open rolling grasslands of the Masai Mara plains.
Lewa Downs Conservancy is a private game sanctuary in the Northern district of Kenya near to Mount Kenya National Park.
The Conservancy is home to a wide variety of wildlife including the rare and endangered black rhinos, Grevy's zebras and sitatungas. It also includes the big five (lion, leopards, elephants, rhinos and Cape buffaloes).
Samburu National Reserve is a rugged and semi-desert park located on the southern bank of the northern Ewaso Ngiro River.
The reserve is rich in wildlife with fame for abundance in rare northern specialist species such as the Grevy Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe, Gerenuk and the Beisa Oryx.
Masai Mara National Reserve is globally famous for its exceptional population of lions, leopards and cheetahs.
There is also the annual migration of zebra, Thomson's gazelle, and wildebeest to and from the Serengeti every year from July to October, known as the Great Migration.

Day 1: Arrive in Nairobi
Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport where you will be met and transferred to your Nairobi Hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure and enjoy the facilities at the hotel.

Day 2: Nairobi – Fly to Lewa Downs Conservancy
In the morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to the Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight to Lewa Downs Conservancy.
On arrival at a bush airstrip, you will be met and transferred to your camp with an en route game drive where you could spot Grevy's zebra and reticulated giraffe.
After lunch, proceed for a late afternoon game drive or enjoy other activities offered at the camp.
Lewa Wildlife Conservancy is a prolific wildlife conservancy that is popular with celebrities, conservationists, writers and photographers.

Day 3: Discover Lewa Downs Conservancy
Spend the day exploring the Lewa Conservancy which is a stronghold for the highly endangered black rhino in Kenya.
Lewa is a fascinating, game rich area with never a dull moment and with knowledgeable guides that know where to find all the action, it lends to a superb safari start.
There are a variety of activities in conservancy including; bush walks, camel treks, sundowners, bird watching and horseback riding.

Day 4: Lewa Downs Conservancy – Fly to Samburu National Reserve
In the morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Samburu in Kenya’s rugged Northern Frontier District.
On arrival, you will be transferred to your luxury camp. Samburu Game Reserve is unique.
The vegetation comprises predominantly acacia woodland interspersed with bush, grass and scrubland, which is broken here and there by small rugged hills.
This is a dry country ecosystem and is, therefore, prone to large variations in the animal populations as they move in search of water and pasture.

Day 5: Explore Samburu National Reserve
Today we spend the day exploring Samburu National Reserve. Get to enjoy morning and evening game drives.
The only permanent source of water in Samburu is the Uaso Nyiro River which provides excellent game viewing opportunities including elephant, buffalo, lion and leopard and of course the plains’ game.
Samburu National Reserve lies on the fringes of the vast and arid desert once known as the Northern Frontier District, whose heat-scorched scrublands extend all the way to the jade-green waters of Lake Turkana and beyond.
Physically dramatic landscape of the Reserve features rocky battlements, craggy scarps, dry river beds and fallen boulders rising out of the thorn scrub against a backdrop of the far-distant hills and the great red table mountain known as Lololokwi.

Day 6: Samburu National Reserve – Fly to Masai Mara National Reserve
In the morning after breakfast, you'll be transferred to the airstrip for your flight to the Masai Mara. On arrival, you will be transferred to your camp with an en route game drive.
Huge herds of plains game, black mane lion, leopard, cheetah, large numbers of elephant, and a wide variety of other birds and animals frequent the Mara’s tree flecked grasslands.
In the afternoon, you will go for an afternoon game drive, later in the evening return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 7 & 8: Discover Masai Mara National Reserve
Spend the two days discovering the richness of the park’s wildlife and track game over the endless savannah.
You will have the opportunity to take various game activities as follows: Wildlife viewing and bird watching can be done on foot with experienced Masai guides.
Night drives, village visits, cultural visits, bush picnics and visits to local trading centers also feature.
Guests will have the option to take an hour-long ride in a hot-air balloon and see the roaming herds and wind-swept landscape from a truly incredible perspective.

Day 9 : Masai Mara National Reserve – Fly to Nairobi
Wake up for an early morning game drive and later return to the camp for breakfast. Later on, you will be transferred to the airstrip to catch a scheduled flight back to Nairobi.
On arrival to Nairobi, you'll be taken to the Carnivore Restaurant, Africa’s ultimate eating experience. Haunches of game meat are served directly onto your plate from Masai Swords.
Afterwards you will be transferred to your residence/ Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your international departure flight.
