    Angama Mara Safari Lodge Masai Mara National Reserve is a luxury and classical tented lodge situated in the western part of Kenya’s Maasai Mara National Reserve on the edge of Africa’s Rift Valley.

    The camp is set in a commanding position on the rim of the Siria-Oloololo Escarpment, looking down onto the Mara Triangle.

    The nearest airstrip is Kichwa Tembo, which is about a 45 minute flight from Nairobi and then a half hour drive from Angama Mara.

    The lodge is unfenced and guests are not permitted to walk unattended around the camp after sunset. There are 2 totally separate camps of just 15 tents each (sleeping 30 guests in each camp).

    Each luxury tent is en-suite and tastefully fitted with in room safe, minibar, overhead fan, tea/coffee making facilities, Mosquito and bug repellent, electric blanket and Africology amenities.

    The lodge uses the freshest ingredients, celebrating the finest local produce to prepare meal and has dazzling choice of dining venues. The venues include tented suite’s deck, at the lodge, by the pool or on a Mara picnic.

    The lodge has a fitness center which is fitted with elliptical, treadmill, exercise bikes, free weights, Pilates balls and a ballet bar for stretching. 

    There is a heated swimming pool, cloakroom for late departures and library with satellite TV and collection of Africana films and books. A spa is also featured in the lodge.

    Angama Mara offers both traditional wedding and Maasai Blessing ceremonies. The ceremonies can be held in the traditional brush-packed Maasai boma at sunset and on the crest of the Out of Africa kopje respectively.

    Activities in the camp include bush barbeque, massage, photography, walking safaris, birding watching, authentic cultural experience, day game drives, children safaris, hot air ballooning, night games drives and visit Maasai beading workshop.

    AndBeyond Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp Masai Mara is situated in a private concession at the foot of the Oloololo Escarpment on the western border of the Maasai Mara Reserve in southwestern Kenya. Nairobi is approximately 350 km or 6 hour drive away.

    There are two scheduled flights a day from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport to Kichwa Tembo private airstrip; the flights take approximately an hour.

    There are also daily flights from Mombasa; the flights take approximately two hours. The flight is followed by a 30-minute drive to the camp, with game viewing en route.

    The camp has 12 classic tents, 20 superior tents and 8 superior view tents including 3 family suites. Each tent is en-suite and tastefully furnished with African furniture and artifacts and has an in room safe and private terrace overlooking the savannah.

    Guests can enjoy themselves in the generously sized swimming pool which is set among the trees and surrounded by lush lawns and spectacular views.  In room massage services are available in the camp.  There is a Safari Shop, which offers the finest Kenyan handicrafts.

    The split-level dining area has been designed around an interactive kitchen and vegetable garden, making food an integral part of the safari experience and serves Pan-African cuisine. After dinner, enjoy a glass of port in front of the fire.

    AndBeyond Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp Masai Mara has a double-storey bar and lounge area that features oversized windows with spectacular panoramas.

    Activities at the Camp include day and night game drives, bush walks, hot air balloon safaris, Maasai dancers; Maasai talks and community excursions that include soul-tickling interactions with the Maasai.

    The lodge is 255 km from Nairobi and an hour’s flight from Nairobi and a 5 ½-hour’s drive from Nairobi on the new tarmac road.

    AA Lodge Maasai Mara has 42 classic tents and 36 cottages/ chalets all spread on the 30 acres of land.

    All the en-suite tents/ cottages are fitted with tea/ coffee making facilities, seating areas, work desks, in-room safes and balconies.

    There is an onsite restaurant that serves local and international meals, vegetarian dishes are available on request. The fully stocked bar offers alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks.

    View Point Lodge Lake Elementaita is situated at the former Kikopey Ranch right on the shores of renowned flamingo Lake Elementaita in Gilgil in the Great Rift Valley. The lodge is situated along the Nakuru-Nairobi highway and 2 -3 hours drive from Nairobi.

    Sleeping Warrior Camp Lake Elementaita is an exclusive tented camp nestled on the slopes of a volcano, on the 48,000 acres of Soysambu Conservancy located on the east side of Lake Elementaita. The camp is 140 kilometers from Nairobi- a 2-3 Hour journey and 1 Hour drive from Loldia Airstrip.

    The Sleeping Warrior Camp has 6 Units (maximum capacity 12 adults and 2 children).  Each tent is locally-made and eco-friendly. All have thatched roofs. Electricity is solar powered.  2 of the 6 tents are en-suite and have private terrace and sleep 2-3 guests.

    The 3rd  tent comes with a private leleshwa enclosure and a private bathroom 2 meters from the tent. The tent sleeps 1or 2 guests with the option of a separate tent for children. The 4th  tent is located on a lava outcrop with private bathroom, 2 meters from the tent and has a private terrace. The sleeps 1 or 2  guests.

    The 5th tent is a secluded getaway with lava stone/canvas walls and thatched roof with en-suite bathroom. There is a star-bed that can be rolled out onto the large private terrace for stargazing. The 6th  tent is a double bedroom located within the main building, the room has its own bathroom with bathtub, large sink and a mirror decorated with lava stone.

    The Ututu House is a simple building, styled to replicate a Tuscan villa. It has a central dining room and lounge and a natural stone terrace. The restaurant serves a wide range of bush dining options as well as local and international cuisines. The fully stocked bar offer a wide selection of non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks.
